Throughout the planning process there were so many little behind the scenes details she saved me time on which I am so appreciative! I will miss seeing her monthly on our planning calls! I don't plan to get married again anytime soon but I do hope our paths cross again! I am speechless about her help from the rehearsal to the very last minute of shutting down the after party!! The top 3 highlights that people mentioned to me on the wedding day were 1. Dad's speech, 2. Florals, 3. How hard she HUSTLED!!! My bridesmaids and close family constantly approached me on the wedding day with sentiments of "wow, she's good!!" She exceeded our expectations and anticipated our every move! I have close family in the hospitality business (who are the harshest critics about everything in the event planning world) and were over the top satisfied with her commitment and follow through to make the day as seamless as possible! I am sure there were many hiccups that day that were not brought to my attention and for that, I give Lindsay full credit! I was able to relax, be present and have a B+ personality that evening instead of my typical A- for all things attention to detail! I felt completely comfortable 'handing Lindsay the reigns' and entrusting she would handle everything as necessary, which she did!!!

My husband and I got…read moremarried last weekend, and both we and our guests are still raving about how perfect the day was - the timing, the decorations, the vendors, everything was absolutely beautiful and executed to perfection. This was all thanks to Michelle and the Bustle and Lace team! We hired Michelle as our wedding coordinator about 1.5 years before our wedding date, and we had helpful check-in meetings every few months to make sure we were on track in hiring vendors, pulling together our day-of schedule, planning for decor, etc, etc, etc. Michelle kept us on track throughout the planning process, and always had helpful templates and advice for every part of the process! Michelle is so responsive and has an answer backed by experience for every question that was asked. Our day was absolutely perfect, and it was all thanks for Michelle and her team working behind the scenes!

She was always a step ahead and ensured all the pieces of the puzzle went into place. Then came a true test. Right before our wedding day, we got some unfortunate news that necessitated us to cancel our reception venue completely. This terrible news was handled amazingly well by Michelle. She talked though the situation with my partner and I and gave us options. We ended up having the reception in our family's backyard and needed to change the plans for the caterer, alcohol, DJ, and cake all in the last few days. She went above and beyond and stepped up for us in the final days and hours before our wedding, and was an absolute superhero on our wedding day. The amount of work she did was phenomenal. Some extra details that stand out to us are:      All of the work and coordination to get things running smoothly a new venue in such short notice (and with all the changes that had to occur from our plan).      Her going out of her way to get my mom a meal for her dietary restriction      Pinning on the groom and groomsmen's boutonnieres      Sheltering the bride from the rain      Passing out appetizers       Passing out cake      All of the myriad of things she did that we don't  even know about. The amount of work she did for us blows our minds. Choosing her was, in hindsight, the best decision we could have made!

She worked so well with all my vendors, some a little more difficult then others - but you would never have guessed by the way she was able to pull everything together. When the day finally arrived and I walked into our venue, my jaw dropped. I could not believe how amazing everything looked - I had a vision in my head but Alysson really pulled everything together and it looked 100% better then anything I could have ever imagined. To give you a better picture of what she had to work with, our venue was at an art gallery, aka a blank canvas. Everything had to be brought in by separate vendors - catering, rentals, decor, lighting, alcohol, desserts, etc - which took A LOT of organizing. On top of that, I work in the creative industry and have a passion for DIY, as does my family. We had a lot of custom ideas and hand-made decorations we needed Alysson to coordinate. It was a lot of extra work, but she seemed to breeze through it all. On top of all that, Alysson was a lifesaver throughout the wedding itself. She kept us on track and anytime we needed something or couldn't find one of the vendors or had a question, Alysson was there. She took care of everything and I am so grateful to her for helping pull off such an amazing day! To top it all off, our wedding was featured by our vendors, other photographers, designers, and wedding inspiration enthusiasts including David Tutera, ColourLovers, Techy NY, HT Inspires, Francesco Mugnai, A Little Bright, Shoot from the Hip, Style Alter, and Boho to name a few. One of the features we were most excited about was Ruffled which included some great info and photography from our wedding. http://ruffledblog.com/cmyk-inspired-wedding/ Again, could not have pulled our vision off without Alysson by our side!

A friend had recommended them with the promise that I would feel completely at ease--and that proved true from the very beginning. Shannon paired us with Cecelia McIntosh, who turned out to be the most exceptional project manager I've ever worked with, not just in the wedding world but across all of my professional experiences. Cecelia's attention to detail was extraordinary. She cataloged every element of our multi-day Indian-Western celebration, managed vendor relationships with grace, secured us excellent deals where she had negotiating power, and offered thoughtful recommendations--like the perfect florals for our mehendi ceremony. She understood the cultural nuances of our events, from the importance of removing shoes at the mandap to the way certain rituals needed to be set up. She took ownership of everything: carrying and setting up décor, assembling seating charts, ensuring plate service was flawless, and keeping the entire wedding running with a level of timing and precision that every single guest commented on. There were moments where Cecelia truly went above and beyond--most memorably when she calmly and safely helped transport a ceremonial fire to an unexpected location, taking control of a situation that could have easily become chaotic. She handled every last-minute request without hesitation, kept our planning calls on schedule, and brought a sense of structure, warmth, and professionalism that made her an absolute dream to work with. As someone who is naturally a very thorough planner, I stepped into my wedding days feeling completely calm, knowing Cecelia had everything handled. Because of her, I was able to be fully present and simply enjoy our celebration. I cannot recommend Shannon Gale and Cecelia more highly--they are truly among the best planners you could ever hire.

Her attention to detail, reassuring presence, and ability to handle every situation with grace made the entire planning process not only stress-free, but genuinely enjoyable. Marie took care of everything--from recommending absolutely incredible vendors, to assisting with design choices that brought our vision to life, to managing the many complicated logistics that come with having a wedding in a tent (think: flooring, electricity, bathroom access--you name it, she handled it). She consistently went above and beyond to make sure every element of our wedding weekend was perfect, and she did it all with a warm smile and steady confidence that kept us grounded and excited throughout. Marie brought our vision to life with such care and expertise--it honestly felt like we had a close friend guiding us every step of the way. She even took the time to thoughtfully put together all the welcome bags for our guests and, throughout the entire wedding weekend, handled every single detail so that we didn't have to worry about a thing. We were able to be fully present and enjoy every moment, knowing Marie had it all under control. If you're planning a wedding and want someone who is not only deeply experienced and connected in the wedding world, but also kind, attentive, and truly invested in your day, Marie is it. She collected our marriage license, gratuity for all the vendors, and even offered to personally check us into our hotel so we don't have to think about it--all things we would have had to do ourselves or delegate. The pricing at Big City Bride is incredibly reasonable, especially considering all the work that they can do. We had the best day and were able to enjoy every second because of Arin!

On the day of our wedding, we joke that Laura felt like another bridesmaid while still doing an exceptional job throughout the day. As multiple small stresses and social curveballs were thrown her way (e.g., party members getting ready, family logistics, etc.), she was amazingly professional and personable with bridesmaids, family members, and other vendors. Most importantly, all of our photos from both events turned out PERFECTLY. Her style of no crazy filters or complex poses beautifully and, most importantly, genuinely captured our big day. We continue to go back to both our digital and printed photos frequently to relive these memories that Laura and her team honored in the best way. We highly recommend her as your photographer!
