From our first session, Shannon approached me with kindness and genuine curiosity. During our time together, she guided me into the inner reaches of my body and mind with patience, openness, and compassion. I had never tried hypnotherapy before my sessions with Shannon. In fact, I went in as a skeptic, but I found Shannon's approach to be powerful and grounded in deep truths. More insights were revealed to me in my couple of months with Shannon than I'd uncovered in the combined years of talk therapy that I've done in the past. Vedic astrology is so much more comprehensive than typical astrology readings - it feels like you can actually get an accurate picture for yourself in a way that more generalized readings can't give you. Plus Tara is thorough in her knowledge and cuts right to the heart of what she thinks is going to be the most important things for you to know from your chart. I have always taken just the basic care of my skin. I have felt like I was just lucky. Now that I…read moream in my 40's and chasing 2 young boys, I began to feel like my skin was more and more exposed to the elements and it was taking its toll. I follow Lisa on her Shine On Camera page on facebook. One day she posted about how important it is to take the best care of our skin and some of the simple ways we can do that. Simplicity is a constant theme in her practice. She is a single mother herself and seems to really understand the busy lives we women lead. I went to her website and saw that she was offering a virtual consultation. I would definitely have preferred to come to see her in person but with Covid it just wasn't possible. But what can she do over facetime? I decided to give it a shot and I was more than impressed. She asks very detailed questions about your products, your routine and your health on the inside. She really listens and relates so naturally. After talking to her she started with what we can do to help our body and skin from the inside. She explained the importance of certain adjustments we can make in our diets which were so helpful. I told her what my budget was now that I can't work and I was AMAZED with the quality of products I was able to afford. The skincare protocol she designed for me felt like such a luxury I was excited every time I had to wash and moisturize my skin. My skin had become so red and lifeless from using the wrong products for my skin. It didn't take long before I began to notice changes and not only that, I felt like I was putting the absolute best possible products on my skin. Her products are all natural and holistic but like I said they are so luxurious. She even recommended a schedule that fit in with what I told her my crazy mother of 2 little ones was and that made it so easy to follow. You know how you meet someone that you can just tell is doing what they were meant to do. That is how you will feel when you have a consultation with Lisa. This is her calling. This is her gift and she embodies that when she talks to you. I could absolutely not recommend her enough. I know a virtual consultation may seem less effective than seeing someone in person but that is not the case here. I know, know, know that you will not regret it. Lisa is there for you when you need her and I am just so happy to have found her.

FULL DISCLOSURE: I never received any nutritional counseling or services from Arielle Brown, so my…read morereview is based solely upon my phone consultation. Let me be clear, I am an empathetic, compassionate and supes emotional lil' lady. However, when it comes to my medical advisement, I would much rather have a cut-and-dry, fact-based, no-nonsense kind of professional than some crystal tantric hippie fluff. What I mean by that is that I don't need anyone (including Arielle Brown) insisting that they feel some sort of deep spiritual connection or that we met in our past lives when I was a butterfly and she was a bending branch or that our souls have touched and are forever intertwined or whatever. I just need help, ma'am. I'm sure she was just trying to keep a soft, soothing and calming voice as instructed by whatever educational institution she hailed from, and she was totally nice the entire time, it just felt like absolute BS by the end of the conversation. As previously mentioned, I would be spoken to in the most frank of terms (strictly business y'all!) than sold some fantasy about how Arielle can "sense my strength and wisdom" and "feel my warrior spirit". Honey chile, you don't know the first thing about me or my spirit. I'm not sure if she thinks that this kind of rhetoric is somehow uplifting or inspiring for potential clients but in actuality, it's pretty condescending and patronizing. I am not a newborn and I am not swayed by the soft cooing of your voice or any melodious drawl you offer. I also find it comical that a "professional" who quoted me well over $2k for 8 sessions doesn't even have a tax ID--or the fundamental knowledge to offer up her social as her tax ID, like most folks would have.

In the pandemic days, it was the motivation to move my body when I just wanted to lay down all day. As I made incremental improvements and started moving regularly, the focus shifted to other aspects of my life that were related to movement: nutrition and sleep The important questions started-- why am I showing up to my workouts exhausted? Am I sleeping enough? How do I juggle the many different aspects of my life-- personal, work, caregiving, networking, etc? Am I eating enough? Am I eating regularly? Why do I go from 0 to 100 and go from not working out at all to workout out so much I could potentially get injured? We also focused on different types of movement: mobility, strength training, working on the areas of my body like my back and wrists that had sensitivities, stretching, and setting me up for success for things like run club. I learned about hormones and having my life style be adjusted to my menstruation cycle (more difficult strength training workouts during ovulation, focus on stretching and walking during luteal phase) It has been an incredibly challenging journey to face all of these aspects of my life and have these mindset shifts day by day and now year by year, but I know that I have Mari cheering me on and by my side every step of the journey to guide and support me. I'm excited to continue to work with Mari and I would highly recommend her programs

At the time, I was extremely depressed and just couldn't seem to get a handle on it. But somehow, immediately from the first session, Dr. Santangelo was able to give me hope and reassure me that together, with her help, I would find happiness again. I saw her for just over a year at that time, until I was really ready to begin my life again. For me, when I entered therapy, my life was at a halt, I was frozen in my own depression. But slowly, in time, I came out of it. Thanks to Dr. Santangelo. Over the years, I have gone back to see her on occasion, at crucial turning points in my life when I have big decisions to make and need a little extra insight. Though it has sometimes been several years in between, Dr. Santangelo always welcomes me back and offers her ear and heart once again. Her style is straight forward, she lets me vent a fair amount, as in any therapy, but she also gives a lot of very helpful feedback and advice. She is compassionate and empathetic, but doesn't hesitate to challenge me when needed, encouraging me to look at things from other perspectives or even help me realize when I might be wrong. Of course she doesn't put it in those words, but she gently helps me see both sides of the coin or the gray in between the black and white, if you will. Really, she is truly brilliant! I can't say how grateful I am that I found Dr. Santangelo over ten years ago. She has been such an important figure in my life, helping me to grow and change and ultimately become a more balanced, healthy and happy person. I have the utmost respect for her skill and craft - personally, she is understanding and kind, professionally, she knows how and when to push you towards true transformation. She is a very special doctor who has enriched my life and helped me bring about countless positive changes. I cannot speak highly enough of her.
