I wasn't sure about trying out this spot but I figured I would give it a try. I purchased a Groupon…read morefor a foot reflexology massage and lavender soak for $30 for 30 minutes. They accept walk-ins so I went up there to check them out. Since I didn't read the fine print, you must schedule an appointment if you have the Groupon offer. So I decided to get a 60 minute full body massage since I was already there. If you check in using the Yelp app there is a special offer for $60 for 60 minute massage that you can use but that was also the current pricing of the massage so wasn't mush of a deal. I decided to save that for later if I decide to come back and the pricing has changed. I was able to get to a room right away the vibe was great and the sounds were soothing. The masseuse took the entire 60 minutes and literally worked every muscle possible. I work from home so I had a ton of knots that needed to be worked through and that massage got them out (for now). It is all sanitary and I felt comfortable being there. I was impressed by the massage and I decided to schedule an appointment for my foot massage. I came back a couple of days later and used my Groupon. The massage was nice but I would recommend the $60 full body massage to get the full experience and your entire body gets massaged.

Idk if this is how Asians do massage but it was not what I'm use to. A lot of forearm and elbow and…read morevery fast movements. And she was so rough when "massaging" my arms that I got bruises on both upper arms. She did break out some hot stones towards the end but didn't really seem like she knew what she was doing with them. It's probably a shady place in reality that does the "extra massage", of you know what I mean. I wouldn't go back for a massage.

Wonderful experience with Mo! My lower back feels fossilized sometimes because it's soooo tight,…read morebut Mo was so thorough and put in a lot of work to help alleviate the pain and stiffness, which has plagued me for about 20 years. I am fit and I am a longtime yoga practitioner. I understand my role in managing these issues, but no amount of exercise can offset 8 hours sitting at a computer a day. A good massage is sometimes the only thing that can help when my body really starts locking up. Ive tried a number of massage therapists who are trained through westernized programs, and I even had a standing appointment with a wonderful reiki master who was a massage instructor for many years. Unfortunately, none of these therapists (who were legitimately excellent) were able to provide much relief for issues like persistent psoas tightness and snapping hip syndrome, etc. Mo is the first massage therapist who really made a difference in my pain and my low back and hip function, after just one session. I don't know if I truly do need deep tissue work or if it just *feels* as if I need deep tissue massage to me because of my usual experiences, but I always ask for deep work and rarely feel as though it's even close to being deep enough. A lot of massage therapists just don't seem to have more than textbook classroom-based understandings of the body, and they tend to try to use sessions to lecture me about the most basic things or assert their expertise, even while they're failing to recognize where my muscles are tight and how to actually address the tightness. That's why I decided to try an eastern-based practitioner this time. This was a fairly vigorous and intense session and I got the exact pressure I wanted/needed, without having to even say anything. It felt as though I finally got some release along my spine. She also did exceptional work on my shoulders and mid-back as well and gave a brief scalp massage. It made my whole week! Lalai is my new standing massage therapy provider and I highly recommend them, and Mo :)

I've now experienced the head spa treatment. My appointment was on a Friday afternoon and "Mo" was…read morewatching for me. She was incredibly kind and helpful, especially knowing it was my first time. I was the only person at the spa so I didn't experience anything more than the sound of music and running water. I wasn't sure what to expect. Here's what I learned that may be helpful to you for the head spa experience: - The Thai bed offered the comfortable, wider bed. It was heated and I was covered with blankets. - You will wear a towel on your top. Straps would be in the way. Come wearing a tube top, something that can be pulled down, or slip off your bra. - If you don't have warm socks, they offer fuzzy socks. - Lockers are provided for security. The key is attached to a bracelet and you can slip it on your wrist. - A scalp analysis is completed before and after. - The treatment started with a massage and it continues on and off throughout. - The pressure isn't painful but it can be intense, including on your scalp. My arm muscles were very tight so I was mindful to breathe through the soreness. - The head massagers are amazing. I've already looked up where to buy my own! -Your hair will be washed multiple times. Aveda products are used. Overall, a wonderful experience. It is definitely a splurge for me; however, this will be a treatment I'll come back for to keep my scalp and hair healthier, plus have an opportunity to relax.

I survived the late flight in to Louisville and proceeded to look for a therapist. I called when they were opened and got an appointment before my convention started. The massage, as I said, was great! She really focused on my bad area and managed to get the knot out. I am now able to get out of the chair without screaming pain. The most helpful thing, she came to the hotel room. I did not have to go to her place of business which was a God send since I probably wouldn't have made it either by taxi or walking. Excellent place if you have to travel.

I'd heard great things about Anna, and was eager to set up an appointment. I was able to do so…read moreeasily through text messages, a big plus for me. And her studio is gorgeous. Natural light pours into the room, illuminating the lovely furniture and decorations. Anna listened to what I told her about what was going on with me and what I wanted from the massage. Her excellent knowledge of anatomy and physiology enabled her to hone in on the sources of my problems, and through skill and intuition, she was able to effectively address each of the issues. She gave me the deep, therapeutic massage I needed without it feeling like torture. I left feeling amazing. My joints were more open, my pain and tension had melted away, and I felt more light and alive. It was the best 90 minutes I'd spent in a long time. I'll definitely be back!
