2 cent lawyer that acts like a he's collecting millions! NOT
I have had 2 personal visits with the this Jeffery Cohen on 2 seperate occasions in the Union twp. Municipal Court. This time was recent. As you well know, it clearly states that J Cohen is there to help defend the defendant. On this occasion when i actually was incarcerated, and had to go to the courtroom in cuffs and jail uniform, ok well i was obviously the defendant and he actually didnt speak to me , spoke to the plaintiff, ok so i will try not to make this longer than it has to be, After speaking to the plaintiff, came to me and says , well usually i speak to the defendant in this case i spoke to the plaintiff, and well ive been working here 26 years. and we are going to try to move the cases together, ( i had a prior case which was minor) all in all, when he spoke to me, he had absolutley no eye contact with me, treated me with total disrespect and says "Oh and you have an 8 year old son",With this look of disgust on his face like you would not believe! when i never said 2 words to him, well the plaintiff and i spoke afterwords to find out this Jeff Cohen told him, Im not touching this case (also with no eye contact) she didnt learn her lesson, was very rude, extremley unprofessional, and afterwards i had remembered him from 13 years ago ,. (I had a small fine that turned into a warrant), it didnt hit me until later that this was the same exact Jeff Cohen that i had dealt with years ago, again, he was the same back then ,no eye contact and judging me before i even spoke 2 words,(No eye contact in my opinion, well fact, is that the person is not reliable or being sincere and/or hiding something) in my opinion, if he is going to be a public defender, at the Union Twp court, he should do his job to the best of his ability, but what i have seen and experienced first hand , that mr. cohen, is totally disgusted with even trying to defend, cases like mine, I believe that he is in the wrong line of work, very unprofessional, to everyone that encounters this person (Cohen) do yourself a favor and get a lawyer that is actually treats you with respect and will actually defend you and listen to you, not judge you as Jeffrey Cohen does.
