After going thru all the BS, I finally got connected to a human who told me it takes FIVE business days, so it should be received. But it was not! Today, (March 10) I called again and was told (once again) it SHOULD take 5 business days to get there. I asked to speak to a supervisor. I was on hold for FORTY minutes - until I hung up. I called my local Truist branch and was told that someone would call me back. Six hours later when she called me back, she said the check can take from 14 to 18 days!!! --- she blamed the US Mail!! She said it should arrive by March 18!!!! AND! If I want to stop the check, THERE WOULD BE A $35 FEE!! Omg! TERRIBLE customer service, Truist!!

Brent was responsive, explained the process, and made it super easy to get a great rate with low costs AND help us to quickly close on our refinance. The only disappointment - we weren't able to beat Brent's 9-day start-to-close record! The Capital Bank website and portal to support the loan process were also user friendly and quite good. If I have ever have home financing needs again I will be sure to look at Capital Bank again and/or call Brent Mendelson. Full disclosure - this is the second loan where I've worked with Brent (first was for first-time home buyer house purchase).
