As someone who has known them since their University days and hopefully helped them start on their paths, I know that they are a first rate forestry-natural resource and management company. Both owners are colleagues as Registered Professional Foresters with California Licenses. They pride themselves in providing a wide array of services for a diverse group of clients who range from state and federal agencies to large industrial timber companies to large ranch ownerships to small family parcels. The company has been responsible for marking well over 100,000 acres, designing, and providing oversight on and participating in countless forest and wildlife inventory projects. Jefferson Resource Co. has prepared over 75 timber harvest projects and non-industrial timber management plans for family and ranch holdings. Preparation of these projects includes road design and layout, logging system analysis and designation, silvicultural determination and cumulative impact assessment.
