This team at rate.com asked for documents which I have never seen asked by somebody. For example guarantee that i will get Bonus every year from a company, i will get stocks from my company and whether i will be employed by 4 years by company etc. He stated he can guarantee the best rate in the market. I trusted and worked with him through www.rate.com. Additional people who were involved in this whole process were Brooke Mavronicles -brooke.mavronicles@rate.com and Collin Moon -Collin.Moon@rate.com All of these combined took 2.5 months of my time, performed appraisal and appraised my house (new built- 4 months old) at 100k lower of what I bought for. All other houses around my community were appraised 100-150k. With almost 2.5 months of asking documents, promising every other day to close, sending initial CDs, never responding to text promptly, stating he is busy and occupied, i eventually gave up on them. I had so many times I would try to call her, she would answer with, "hi, sorry I'm [in a meeting, driving, at lunch, etc etc etc] and I will call you right back, give me just a couple of minutes." Then I would never receive a call back. Her emails were written in short, weird incomplete sentences, she was rude and condescending to me through email, and just overall seems extremely unwilling to do her job well. As a company, do yourselves a favor and replace her ASAP. She is costing you clients. I would love some follow up and to file a formal grievance about this person.
