Maybe a sign or station a person with a hand held checkout machine for the outdoor purchases??? I get that they are trying to sell a lot ..a lot of variety..but sometimes too much is a bad thing. Maybe it's overdue time to reconfigure a better layout. They have been in this location for a long time..maybe hire a person to reconfigure things. While…read morecamping in Erie PA, we found this place while looking for something fun to do that isn't the usual things in the downtown Erie. The brochure from the campground recommended this place and it was well worth the stop. Inside is a little market selling seasonal vegetables and local made sodas, dressings and canned pickles and sauces. Being autumn, there were plenty of apples, mums and pumpkins. There is also an amazing bakery with cookies, cakes, pies and breads. I didn't take a picture of the sweet treats we because they didn't last long enough - and they were OH SO GOOD! If you want to go to Erie and @are looking for something new and adventurous to do - definitely worth the drive!!!

If I lived closer, I'd be sampling their cider (on a routine basis of course) and make sure to always check what they're cooking next. Bonus points to the woman behind the counter who was very patient as I perused the pies and everything else to decide what I want. (Slight deduction for potassium sorbate in the cider. I know it's relatively ubiquitous but would vastly prefer the fresh cider without it - I can drink a gallon that fast! But I get it.)

The pond by the bakery is beautiful and makes for great photo spots. One thing we really appreciated was that it was way less hectic than Patterson's. We loved being able to do a little bit of everything--apple picking, grabbing treats, taking photos--without the insane lines or crowds. Do expect a long line at the bakery, but it moved surprisingly fast, and there was plenty of seating once you got your food, which was a nice bonus. Now for the famous cider slushies and donuts: they're definitely cute and very Instagrammable, but for us, they didn't quite live up to the hype--probably not worth the one-hour drive from Cleveland just for those alone. Taste-wise, they were good but pretty average. That said, we still had a great time overall! We enjoyed some treats, went apple picking, and got some lovely fall foliage shots. A fun fall outing overall!

My family and I went for their fall…read moreevent that includes a hayride, corn maze, pumpkin picking from the vine and a play area for kids. Entry was $5 and kids 2 and under are free. The entry fee gets you access to everything mentioned. There were 3 food trucks in front, and also their main building consists of fresh picked vegetables (a big assortment of peppers ranging from mild to hot) and other handmade local goods. Prices are very reasonable as well. If you don't want to pick your own pumpkin, there are also ones that you can just choose and purchase in front of their main building, along with cornstalks. Let me tell you, this hayride is by far the best I've been on. From the cleanliness of the farm and the hayride, to the organization and friendliness of the employees. They close at 5pm on Saturdays, and advertise that their last hayride is at 4pm, but they went until almost closing due to there still being people who wanted to ride. There were 2 tractors that took patrons to and from the pumpkin area. The ride to the area was about 5 or so minutes, and coming back was about 10 minutes. While riding, you get views of the whole farm, a view of a pond and also ride through their orchards. The tractors and seating area were clean and in good shape. The pumpkin patch had a lot to choose from and different shapes, sizes and colors. Many were still on the vine. The price for the pumpkins is $0.42 per pound. I got one huge pumpkin, and 4 small ones for $12. Not bad at all! This farm has yearly events, and I can't wait to return. Definitely recommended!

We are new to the area and when house hunting last fall, we spotted the hay bale minions. My husband is a huge minion fan so he made our poor realtor go back to take pictures! We didn't realize at the time that the hale bale sculptures are an annual event at the farm. We've been back to get fresh produce and went to the open house a couple weeks ago and took a hayride tour of the farm. Looking forward to fall produce and seeing what this year's hay bales are!
