My student will be moving in August, so this review is about the leasing staff/application process…read more- as most agents are, they were very friendly when we visited. We were drawn to the community b/c of the appearance, location and a special offering (3) months free rent. We mentioned that deal to the agent, along with the planned move-in date and she confirmed that it would be offered. My student and (2) others applied, were accepted, and my student called the agent to ask a couple of questions (we were in my car at the time so I heard the conversation). Again, the agent confirmed that the offer would be available for (3) months - upon receiving the lease to sign, we wanted to see that offer included on the lease, so we began what turned into a week-long attempt to contact (2) of the leasing staff (who added their phone numbers to the lease e-mail along the typical "please call with any questions"). Zero response to multiple e-mails and voicemails - I finally reached the original agent we spoke to when we visited and she was short and rude, explaining that the offer was only if move-in was by a certain date. I reminded her of our visit and the phone conversation with my student, and she denied both. I've read very good reviews about the complex in general and the management staff, so I'm hoping to write a better review in the future. I would encourage anyone going through the application process to demand everything outside the lease in writing - not much can be done about the ridiculous lack of communication, so, if possible, go in person.

We had countless issues while living here…read more On move in day we were given keys and told that they were pouring our parking lot for our building. There were 5-6 units all with movers using one stairwell. Our unit was on the opposite end of the building from the stairwell we had to use and the time was adding up quickly. We had to halt our movers, take over the uhaul agreement and move in on another day. The property manager later came by and said the fire marshall was doing final checks and to make it like we were in the unit yet. After living here a few months it didn't get better. We had banging pipes they had to cut holes in the wall to address, windows leaking and mold on most all the windows. They offered a dehumidifier to "address" the issue, but wouldn't do anything further. Supposedly a new company has taken over, but it's still the same build from the previous contractor and you couldn't pay me to live in these.

These apartments have beautiful finishes and could truly be amazing. However, management cannot…read morekeep up with simple maintenance requests as I believe they only have one maintenance man from the looks of it. You could never get in touch with an actual human being via the phone, but had to submit everything via the portal. The ceilings/floors are paper thin and the clientele that is somehow managing to afford $1500 a month is a large number of inconsiderate students whose parents are likely paying for their way. Myself and other adult residents who chose his apartment complex chose it because we assumed it would be more middle-age individuals who had careers, but this would be a virtually impossible place to work out of it working from home due to the noise. Living on the bottom floor, you can constantly hear stomping, thumping, and all forms of shouting of the F bomb at all hours of the day and into the early morning hours. This is not just regular apartment living trials, it is a complete lack of guidance and screening by management. Also, all package deliveries have recently started being delivered to a common hallway at the front entrance where packages have been stolen and misplaced.

Put in a request for maintenance, they came, said the compressor is bad, and to use the emergency heat until it could be fixed - which they said "they couldn't guarantee it would be by Christmas." Here it is, Christmas Eve, no further contact or update has been provided, we are still having to run our emergency heat. Monday (12/21) around 7:30a, I went to one of the storage closets to get a pack of diapers and notice the carpet was wet and mold on the wall around the baseboard and up about 5 inches on the wall. Put in another maintenance request. Someone came and looked, cut some of the wall, and showed me a broken piece of PVC pipe he found in the wall. They said that a plumber would be out 12/22. 12/22 at approx 9:30a, doorbell rings. Guy is here to look at the leak. There is a small crack that you can see through between the hinge and doorframe on our laundry area. I watched this man take a pair of plyers, forcibly unscrew my cold water hose from my washing machine, let water run out, and tighten it back. He then said "your hose wasn't tight I fixed it." I told him I had literally just watch what he did, and he said the same thing "hose was loose" it was not, as the man that was out here the day before looked and said that wasn't the issue. When I asked about the piece of broken PVC pipe the other guy found in the wall, the guy said "he doesn't know what he's talking about." Someone did come and spray the walls and the carpet in the closet area, but it smells like mildew and needs to be cleaned properly. No communication about further cleaning. I talked to the secretary at 10:04am 12/22 and requested the actual property manager call me. She was very rude, and I got rude right back, but here it is again, 12/24 and no call back. We literally have not even left been here for 2 months yet, and I have another 10 months to go. It is going to be long a drawn out. I highly suggest to anyone reading this, that you do not rent from these crooks. That is all they are, and they have made that very apparent.

The AC went out during the hottest day of the summer, and was on a weekend. They called Monday morning to let me know someone was on the way to repair. The AC was fixed within 30 minutes of arrival. There have been three other needs and their response has been same day and professional. I deducted one star for the interior paint job. You can see it was a spot / touch up job as the paint not quite matches. The company agreed to waive my requirement to paint upon move-out. Works for me!
