I'm so annoyed I even wasted my time going here for a consult. First of all I walked in and the office had a musty smell... the receptionist apparently doesn't smile or great you even when no one else is in the waiting room... I went there because they have a DRX-9000 which I have used in the past... they only have one and the doctor spent most of his time looking in the mirror as he talked to me, it was odd. Then the whole conversation was about whether I should get a lawyer or have med pay with my insurance because I had a car accident a month ago, I didn't go there for legal advice, what is wrong with these "doctors" I am seeking treatment they should provide that, I need to get an MRI referral to see what's pinched and causing me pain but both this one and last one seem to think I can't pay out of pocket? And he said oh I could adjust you and fix you cus you have C5C6 based on some pressure resistant quick test, I asked about the DRX9000 and he said oh that's expensive and you may not need that, you are talking about the big leagues WTF then he is really full of himself oh I've done so many of these consults because I have been a doctor for all these many years... narcissist much? I don't care if you have done millions, you still suck at it. If I knew I was going there to hear your opinion about a lawyer or med pay and not to get an exam and an MRI referral I would have not wasted my time and gas going there. Definitely not coming back for this, who even says oh yeah I could adjust you after a car accident without even suggesting an MRI? You may not even need one? I had not seen Dr. Jeffers for treatment in over five years Since moving away from his area. On a Thursday night, I hurt my back pretty badly, and was unable to find any local East County chiropractors on Friday that were open, or had availability. The ones that were Wanted to charge me an exorbitant fee for a new patient exam. So I literally called Dr. J's office at 7:30 AM on Saturday morning And much to my surprise, he answered personally. Despite not having been a patient of his since 2019, he made it clear that he would fit me in That morning, give me a thorough new patient exam, and do any Adjustments if needed. Despite a steady stream of clients, he did exactly that. He diagnosed the issue, spent plenty of time with me, and did a couple of major adjustments to get my back into alignment. Several hours later, a lot of the soreness has dissipated. this once again proves that Dr. Jeffers is at the top of his field, And offers unmatchable customer service. Even at the last minute. I am going to make the half hour drive to see him once again next week so he can check on how my back has responded to his adjustments. Scheduled an appointment with Dr Jeffers on Tuesday afternoon. He prescreened me over the phone and made an appointment early at 8am on Monday. He ends up calling me on Sunday afternoon just before noon and prescreens me again. He keeps beating around the bush and tells me about how he's only seen about ten people this week and how he wants to limit exposure (currently on Covid-19 lockdown, the lockdown ends on Monday, the day of the appointment). He then asks about my work (I work for the department of defense and am an essential personnel, there are maybe 20 of us at work and all prescreened and maintain social distancing, hygiene, limited work hours). He keeps beating around the bush some more. Tells me I should go back to my primary care, since they didn't diagnose it. And if they don't I should sue them. (Random of him to say). He then says that he doesn't want to accept any new patients at this time. I then asked him why did he accept me as a new patient a couple days ago when he talked to me? He starts talking about how I'm not in chronic pain and I'm not a current patient of his / I interrupt him and tell him that's ok thank you, I'll just find another doctor and he slams his phone down. Very very unprofessional and rude. Most doctors will charge their patients a cancellation fee for not cancelling prior to 24hrs; too bad we can't do this to the doctors for wasting our time. read more

Dr. Jeffers and Dr. Scott are seriously amazing. They genuinely care about my health and have committed to helping heal my sports injuries for over 15 years. They've helped me deal with herniated disks, dislocated shoulders (yes, multiple) and general body pain. I've been able to work through all of these issues with their help. Their approach is honest and direct and they won't beat around the bush. If they can help you, they do. If they think your injury is better treated elsewhere, they refer you elsewhere. They won't charge you for something you don't need and only offer what is necessary to get you healed up. 10/10 would recommend. I cannot begin to express how grateful I am to Dr. Jeffers and Dr. Scott. I feel so lucky to have found them! . Prior to coming in, I spent two years with almost daily low back pain that interfered with my every day life, with little relief from other providers. I came to see Dr. Jeffers in January, not feeling very optimistic that I'd ever feel normal again. I did ~18-20 spinal decompression treatments along with regular adjustments consistently as he recommended and trusted the process. I now am free of back pain, and can function normally running, working out, and working, and everyday activities with no issues. I have continued to come in for regular adjustments and feel amazing. I've been having severe upper back and neck pain that causes headaches daily. I've been to see doctors in the past year and have been told my headaches are caused by tension and stress. There was nothing to be done other then to not work as much and stretch out my upper back every hour. My pain has started to keep me up all night until I take a few Advil to numb the pain and dim the headache. Leaving me sleep deprived every morning. I've been seeing Dr. Jeffers on and off for over 10 years, but mostly off - which is the sign of a great chiropracter -- one that can actually "fix" your pain, so you don't need to keep coming back. Dr. Jeffers is extremely knowledgeable, caring, and dedicated to trying to get you back to health and enjoying your life. He's also really good about getting you in to see him right away, often the same day, which is much appreciated. I've had some terrible back and neck pain at times, and I'm very fortunate that (knock on wood) at least so far, he has managed to get me back in alignment and make it disappear. I'm sure this isn't true for everyone, but it has worked for me. I also appreciate that he subscribes to the "less is more" philosophy -- he'll often give you just a small adjustment, because you can always come back for more, rather than trying to over-do it, which can leave you in even worse shape. Likewise, if your upper back is hurting, but your lower back is fine, he's likely to leave your lower back totally alone; why try to fix what isn't broken (even though some chiropracters do)?! I haven't been to Dr. Jeffers in a couple years (thankfully), although I've referred lots of friends and family members to him, and hopefully it will be several years or never that I'll need to see him again! read more

Had my first appointment today. The doctor is super lovely, Very very sweet and super smart. I love his holistic approach. He popped all the spots I needed and being 29 weeks pregnant I was very happy that he knew all the ways to get a good pop in up and down (isn't one of those chiropractors who just uses the stupid popping gun...) he actually pops you hands on. He also gave me and my family really helpful health advice to keep our health in good check. His prices are extremely reasonable and isn't one of those annoying chiropractors that tries to sell you more and more. He's the perfect doctor to go to and I definitely will be going back. I have been coming to Dr. Jeffers (The Running Doctor - Yes!) for 27 years. Yes, Twenty Seven. He has fixed my feet, knee, L4, shoulders, and neck. He doesn't push product and only suggests possible solutions. A product mentioned "calcium", is $11.00, not a back breaker at the bank. It also takes MORE THAN a week or month to feel the effects of such a product. In all my years, this is the first time to review Dr. Jeffers and his son only because I read such a negative review. I highly recommend Dr. Jeffers to all my friends and family as he is absolutely the most skilled chiropractor I have ever visited. I have been a loyal customer of Dr. Jeffers for the past 20yrs. No longer a skeptical about practice of Chiropracters. I've gone to Dr. Jeffer's already for 2 separate back pain incidences. He's the only place that has been able to treat and improve my back pain problems (happens about at least once a year) with in the same day with major progress and with a one to two follow up appointments if needed. My initial back injury years ago (from picking something up) was initially treated by typical muscle relaxants that gave me dysfunctional side effects, then I tried massage therapy later on, but that only band-aid the problem. The practice of chiropractors has helped significantly when I do have the rare back problem again. Coming from working in the medical/health science field, working with physicians, nurses. I don't mind Dr. Jeffers mannerism, he's straightforward, and is quite objective with his words. He can multi-task like no other in handling an office. If you're the type that likes the doctor that comes off really sweet type or sensitive type, then he may not be the type for you. However, if you are the type that likes those who mean business, and is a straight shooter, then I would recommend him based on my experiences. I called this office out of desperation for my mother who had been unable to move or sleep from sciatica pain. After seeing my mom crying for four days, I tried to find someone open on Saturday. When I called his office I explained my moms condition and he was rude and unwelcoming. First he asked how close we lived to his office and based on his tone it was obviously not close enough. His office hours say they are open till 11 am and he said that he will be leaving at 10, his solution was since he is not her normal chiropractor to try and find someone else open or take medication and go see her normal chiropractor on Tuesday. Just left my first experience, the first of many, with Jeffers Chiropractic. I had originally called because they were the first one to show up on my healthcare provider's website for in network care. The woman who answered the phone was patient with me, as I haven't been to a chiropractor in about four years and only went once, so I'm not knowledgeable about what to ask, what to expect, etc. Once in the office, Dr. Jeffers evaluated me and had me on ice and stim for a short period. Once back in his office, he was straight forward and to the point. I respect this as I'm tired of Dr.'s over suggesting procedures and treatment, which just adds more financial stress. He did not suggest excessive treatment and made it really clear - if the pain comes back a few weeks from now to just call and come back in. If I'm not sure if I should, pick up the phone and he'll talk to me personally. He was very knowledgeable in showing me where my neck pain was coming from, that it wasn't my muscles and that this was common from sleeping on the couch, a previous car accident I was in and potentially getting worse because I was getting massages. He adjusted me, it was quick and within minutes the majority of my shooting pain was gone. He immediately told me that if I came back later today (I live behind the building so easy to walk over) he would do an additional adjustment for free or just do one more evaluation to make sure everything is good and I'm comfortable. I've been to Keith Jeffers twice for a chiropractic issue. He's a very quick and sharp person, constantly soaking up and generating information. His treatment has been successful for me so far, relieving a great deal of my neck pain. He also strikes me as extremely straightforward and honest. He gave me the benefit of the doubt on some insurance issues and offered to help me sort them out. For what it's worth, his uninsured rates aren't terribly unreasonable. I found Dr. Jeffers because he was in my insurance network, and he is AMAZING! They call him "The Running Doctor" because back in the day he was a huge marathon runner. He has some great stories to tell. I've been a runner for several years now, but due to a recent accident I can't run as much. After going to Dr. Jeffers he diagnosed the problem and recommended a really helpful orthotic which I've been using. If you need to get a realignment, I definitely recommend going here, he knows what he's doing. I definitely notice some healing, and I go back once every several months for a check-up. read more

I manage to slip a disc in my back about twice a year (I think it's the guest bed at the inlaws' place -- too soft). I have been a serious runner for just over 2 years now. After I ran the San Diego Rock n Roll Half, I began to feel pain in my left hip. I ignored the pain for a few months and thought ice and yoga would help. When my pain lasted longer then a week, that's when I called Dr. Jeffers. I am so glad I scheduled an appointment. I walked in and felt like the Dr and his son really cared about treating my pain. He asked me a series of question to better diagnose the CAUSE of my pain to HEAL my symptoms. Most doctors would prescribe medicine to alleviate pain. He applied a few adjustments and cold laser therapy. He told me I have hip brusitis and encouraged me to come back if the pain persists as it might be a more serious condition. Since then, I have experienced no pain in my hip and lower back. I went for a follow up treatment and he remembers little details about each patient. I really value that in a Doctor - he really got to know me. I highly recommend seeing Dr. Jeffers for an athletic related injury. He doesn't prescribe medicine to "make the pain go away". He listens, treats and advices.
