If you are looking for roofing services within DaVinci Partners' service area, you have just found…read moreeverything you are hoping for-- DaVinci Partners is the very best of all you can and will ever find. You'll see that DaVinci Partners is much more than simply your contractor; DaVinci Partners is your customer and quality advocate, your trustworthy source of deep roofing knowledge, and the reason you'll be totally confident in your roof for years to come. I can tell you my new roof will easily long outlast every single one of the new roofs put on other homes in my neighborhood this year. I've bet my money on it! My story: At home, I discovered a leak running into my garage coming in through my 20-year old original roof. Soon afterward, I received a visit from a different, door-to-door, roofing salesman and began to work on a roofing plan with him. He would find storm damage (there was actually plenty of it), handle the insurance, and build me a "new roof meeting applicable building codes." He conducted a quick "ground level inspection" (i.e. without even getting on the roof) and promised me no out-of-pocket expenses. The sales pitch is designed to sound like "magic" to a naive homeowner. All I had to do was immediately sign away my right to work with other contractors. Right from the start, the sales pressure was uncomfortable. I didn't even know enough to ask about the types of materials and construction techniques his company would use. The lack of a real roof inspection bothered me. I'd never even see the actual costs. I knew I was out of my league and falling into a trap. Then I called DaVinci Partners and everything changed completely. I met with proprietor Vince Calcagno. Mr. Calcagno started by explaining a few things to me from the start. I learned about the varieties and quality levels of different types of asphalt shingles. He discussed the various materials and techniques used for underlayments. He talked about renailing the roof deck and using valley pans instead of interweaving shingles. He showed how to improve attic circulation by converting the tiny roof vents to substantial ridge vents. Mr. Calcagno's goal was clear: to provide me the very best available roof within my needs and budget as well as the education to truly appreciate my decision. Remarkably, he demonstrated that the very best option was just incrementally more expensive than the most basic option. (The most basic option is what I'd have gotten with the rejected salesman, and I'd have never even known it!) Mr. Calcagno sent out an engineer to actually study my roof and used satellite-based imaging services to accurately measure its dimensions. I eagerly signed up with DaVinci Partners. and Mr. Calcagno supervised the roofing crew himself, in person, to ensure they executed the construction project using the advanced materials and techniques in accordance with manufacturer's requirements. He took copious photographs and shared them with me to see for myself. I handled the insurance claim myself, so I know that Mr. Calcagno managed this job perfectly on budget. It sounds unbelievable, but for all this he accomplished so much more than the other salesman had promised. I received the very best available fortified roofing system and still paid nothing out of pocket! Fortified roofing systems -- if you don't know what that means and you need a new roof, then look it up right away! If you're like me, past experience with other jobs has made you reluctant to hire contractor help after suffering time and budget overruns and poor-quality work. You'll also know that a good contractor's phone number is as good as gold. Congratulations, you've just struck gold with DaVinci Parters! You absolutely need to see this for yourself! And now for a personal message: Thank you for a perfect experience, Mr. Calcagno.

After Hurricane Florence I realized that my house needed some attention. The crawl space door, in…read moreparticular had seen much better days. I ordered one from a virtual big box store and when it arrived was disappointed to find that it didn't fit. I decided that I'd check out some local businesses and came across Hanover Iron Works. I called and told them what I was looking for, got a reasonable quote, and decided to go for it. I brought my falling apart shell of a door and hoped for the best. I'm so glad I used this business. I got a door that fits exactly right, was painted, and had a lock clasp that I can use. The door is solid, well constructed, and looks so much better than the one I had. Never did I think I'd write a review for an iron works business but these guys are amazing. Highly recommend!

Had difficult time finding aluminum fascia trim from local big box material companies that matched what blew off. Found Hanover Iron on line and they listed fascia trim as a service provided. Contacted Them and sent them pictures of piece that blew off so they could see the required bends and finish texture. They confirmed they could make what I needed. Gave me a reasonable price. They cut and bent pieces I needed in only a couple of days. Picked the items up and they were an identical match to what is on the house. Fantastic job and could not be happier with their work!
