He gave us a call let us know so we were able to adjust and get there earlier so we could still get some garden shots. Eric gave us plenty of time to get a variety of shots, he was not rushing us or being tight on time. He turned our pictures around in only a few days which was incredible. After we received our pictures, I realized there were a few photos that my dress was creased and I asked Eric if there was anyway they can be adjusted and he said he could see what he could do. Very very disappointing. While the photography was well done, when I tried to contact Lisa about…read morepurchasing my parents' wedding photos from over a decade ago, she outright refused to do anything other than an all cash purchase, was difficult, and threatened to throw away the records if we did not pay in cash. It felt tantamount to extortion. While I fully support what photographer do and understand that a lot of work goes into the final product, the outright refusal to work together -- or worse accept any type of non-cash payment -- shows that Michael Carr Photography does not care about long term customer care. We would never consider using them again in the future knowing this is the way past clients are treated. (Not to mention, the wedding photos in question put them on the COVER of The Knot at the time. They got their money's worth in referrals alone.) Choose another photographer who works in the modern age and cares about their customer's experience. Lisa and Michael do not. EDIT: Per the response it's clear that customer service is terrible, still. If they wanted to rectify it, they'd reach out.
