I have been a customer of State Farm for most of my life and a client of Jeff Gotch for 20+ years due to the quality of service I have always received. Jeff and his entire staff treat you as more than just a client. I recently lost my furnace during the recent cold snap when the temp was -27 degrees. As one of many who needed heat, by the time I got to the store to attempt to purchase space heaters there was not much too choose from and could only find the small personal heaters. Jeff found out that I had lost my heat and immediately called me and offered up 2 big space heaters, 1 from the insurance agency and 1 from his home. These made all the difference in making our home livable for the 2 days it took to replace the furnace. Throughout the entire ordeal he kept in touch with us and offered his assistance to us for anything we needed. State Farm has paid for our claims through the years, mainly hail damage claims on our homes. We recently had two auto claims, neither our fault. I hit a deer on the way to work a couple of years ago. They paid for the whole thing. One month earlier, I was rear ended and the other party's insurance thought they could get away with only paying $1,000 for $6000 of damage because we had hail damage on our car. I called Jeff's office and they offered to subrogate for us; basically take the other (cheap!) company to court and get them to pay the balance of the damages. Initially I had to pay a deductible, but was fully reimbursed when State Farm won! Oh yes, we also got rear ended one time when a youth (must have been texting) hit us. I've been a State Farm customer for 20+ years. During that time I've transferred my policies from different states about four times and had to file a couple of claims. Not one time did I ever have any problems. Also after filing my claims I was completely satisfied with the ease, speed, and payment I received. Every agent I have had in the past were always friendly and helpful. But now is why I give a 5 star rating. I recently moved to Bellevue a couple of years ago and transferred my policies here (no problems), but last week decided I wanted to purchase some life insurance. Having never personally met Jeff Gotch, I made an appointment to meet with him to discuss my options. (with reservations not knowing what to expect and thinking, here we go, I'm subjecting myself to a pitchman that's going to try and over sell me something I don't want.) That couldn't have been further from the truth. Right off the bat, Jeff was welcoming and super friendly. He listened to what I was interested in and what my budget was. I couldn't have asked for any better service or results. He laid out different options and explained the pros and cons of each one. Never did he pressure me about choosing one or feel I was wasting his time. After all was said and done I got the policy I wanted and consider not only that but have also made a friend. If you're leery about personally meeting with an insurance agent, don't with Jeff. He's not a guy trying to over sell you something you don't want or need.
