She is able to keep him engaged and interested in the music and the lesson in a way that I never expected. Like most 5 year olds, he is easily distracted and seems to want to move on to the next interesting thing every 3 minutes, but he can sit through her lessons with unexpected focus. Its not 100%, but that is about the child and not the teacher. The skill and technique is how to bring that attention back to the lesson, and being patient is key.
