recently had the pleasure of dining at Jeannie's Breakfast Spot in Chickasha with my husband, and it was a delightful experience! The moment we walked in, we were greeted by a very attentive, helpful, and sweet waitress who made us feel right at home. The food was fantastic, with a homestyle touch that made every bite enjoyable. My husband, who is quite particular about his biscuits and gravy, was pleasantly shocked by how good they were--especially since we come from Texas, where we know our biscuits and gravy! The breakfast options were plentiful, and everything was served hot and fresh. The atmosphere was cozy and inviting, perfect for a relaxing morning meal. The kind and beautiful waitress who assisted us always kept our Coffee filled and was an utmost joy to have met. I see some people have complained but in all realty the things I've seen them gripe about are things that are not really that important. Things happen they could've asked for a new dish or whatever they thought was wrong. Anyways!! Overall, Jeannie's Breakfast Spot offers great food, excellent service, and a warm, welcoming environment. Being an out of towner, I was told this was a good place to go! Ordering was a little difficult just because I wasn't sure if it was a sit down or order and go place but I think you can do both! The service was fast, food was great! It's a gem! read more

Absolutely adored this diner! Large menu of handmade options at more than reasonable prices. Staff was friendly, encouraging, and generously allowed me the wifi password and two spaces at the bar counter to review notes on my laptop. The diner was buzzing at 8:30am but not slammed. Fresh coffee pots made the round regularly, which to be honest was my main reason for stopping in. I ordered pancakes, scrambled eggs, and their chicken fried bacon with a side of gravy. I am positive this bacon on a handmade biscuit with sausage gravy and a drizzle of syrup with satisfy anyone's sweet and savory morning craving! Had the pleasure of talking with Ms. Jeannie herself, and was able to order an array of freshly made fruit fried pies (one dozen mixed cherry, lemon, apricot, blueberry). They were boxed up with plenty of napkins and a huge hit at the office for the 10:00 meeting. Ms. Jeannie and her staff take pride in their work....the real effort behind an hard day's work. If you like fresh home cooked food with friendly people who are just happy to feed Jeannie's place is the place to be . Jeannie makes the best fresh pies I have ever had, over 15 different varieties and if your are adventurous and lucky she might make you a new one. My favorites are the strawberry cream, watergate and Rocky Road. I will definitely return if I am in and around OKC. It's worth the drive. read more

On route to Branson we needed breakfast. Called and they were open until noon. I ordered a small oatmeal with toast and bacon. It was massive and very tasty. Will most certainly return and recommend this little hole in the wall. Staff was wonderful and helpful. Great mom and pop place. read more

First thought when I entered the cafe was this is the most depressing looking cafe I have ever been in. The crazy mix of decor that has obviously been here for years, was a real turn off. Our waitress wore short, tattered cutoffs & an old T-shirt. Real classy. We had breakfast. The food was not bad, but nothing I could not get anywhere. This place could use a visit from Restaurant Impossible to bring it up to date & get rid of those ugly red and brass chairs,the wobbly tables, curio cabinets with old coffee cups, and the depressing gray walls. Went for lunch with my husband, this was our second visit, they seem to have lots of regulars; but we won't become regulars. I had a roast beef and mushroom sandwich on Texas toast, the roast beef was so dry, I think I'm still chewing it and it was topped with a handful of canned mushrooms, the Texas toast was crisp. My husband had a grilled chicken sandwich, the chicken breast was moist, but so much mayonnaise. The packages of potato chips were stale dated December of 2021, maybe you need to check your stale dates before you serve the chips read more

Very nice employees who greet you when you come in and who make eye contact during conversations, for me that makes the dining experience so much better. I had their mix and match breakfast which is a great deal. I ordered bacon and it cooked just right, not overcooked like some other restaurants where the bacon is dry and hard. Stopped by for breakfast early one morning last week. The place was really neat and clean. My breakfast was delivered fast and hot just the way I like it. Today was my first time at Jeannie's Place and it will be my last time. I told the guy up at the front of the restaurant that my husband and I have Eleven kids and he started to yell and scream and told the little old lady that he had been talking to about my 11 kids and he said its not like she hads a farm or crops or anything. but the food was very good. read more

The breakfast menu is good, lots of choices. Food quality is inconsistent at best. Bacon can be thick or thin, over easy eggs range from hard cooked to just right, and the pancakes vary in size from day to day. The service, however is appalling. The young school girls that wait on tables are RUDE, acting like they don't care if you are there or not. They don't smile. They are not pleasant unless you are someone they want to flirt with, and once they deliver your meal you are forgotten. If you want more coffee you have to go to the counter and ask for it. Jeanie, the owner, is there but doesn't seem to care any more than the servers do. My wife and I used to go there regularly but have stopped. If I want bad service I can go to a fast food joint. read more

I have been coming to Chickasha every week since the middle of June 2019 and my and my co-workers go to Jeannie's Place at least twice between Monday and Thursday. The food is awesome and the staff is as friendly as they come! The pies are super duper amazing!!! Sometimes, if I go to another place for lunch, I will still drop by Jeannie's for the pie afterwards. I recommend to everyone that comes through Chickasha or that lives in Chickasha to try Jeannie's.
