From the very first moment I walked into the office, I was greeted with warmth, professionalism, and genuine care. Every single member of the team made me feel at ease, supported, and valued--through every pre-op, post-op, many phone calls with questions, and today's follow-up appointments. The office itself is pristine--clean, modern, and welcoming, with a calm and positive energy that instantly puts you at ease. But what really sets this practice apart is the people. The patient care team (from the amazing nurses to the friendly faces at the front desk--who greet me by name with a big smile every time) are simply phenomenal. They are kind, compassionate, and truly invested in your well-being. And then there's Dr. Davidson. He is incredible--kind, confident, and truly gifted. During my consultation, I came in with a long list of questions, and he had already answered every single one before I even had to ask. His bedside manner is unmatched--he exudes warmth, professionalism, and a calm confidence that instantly builds trust. I knew I was in the best hands. This entire process was seamless, and I couldn't have asked for a better experience or better results. I am beyond grateful to Dr. Davidson and his team--I cannot recommend them enough. 10/10 doesn't even begin to cover it!

When I asked when I could have another appointment they told me 4 weeks from now, which I considered outrageous. When I let them know how I NEED this procedure done, then they gave me an appointment for the week after. Dr. Hartshorn, is amazing otherwise, he takes the time to listen, and give you options. They have snacks, coffee, and the office is super clean. The staff is super friendly. I just feel like, as someone who can barely put any weight on her foot, and then pain is so bad that I can't sleep, that this is not considered urgent and therefore it gets canceled.

The pain was excruciating, and continued to get worse over time. One of my colleagues who was seriously injured in a surfing incident a year earlier, that basically destroyed his shoulder (broken bones etc) had been treated by Dr. Tim Hartshorn, and recovered completely recommended that I go see him. I did, and I IMMEDIATELY knew I was in the right place, with the right doctor. Ultimately, I required surgery to repair my shoulder, but prior to actually scheduling surgery, I needed to finish out the work season on light duty. Dr. Hartshorn gave me direct steroid injections to the shoulder joint over the course of the next few months to get me through the rest of that season. At the end of the season, I went in for surgery in the morning, and was back home that afternoon. Almost immediately, Dr. Hartshorn had me on a physical therapy routine that got me moving my newly repaired shoulder in short order. Over the course of the next several weeks, the pain subsided, my range of motion returned as I continued physical therapy, and in less than 3 months, I was back at work with no restrictions. What you need to understand is that prior to seeing Dr. Hartshorn, I could not even hold a coffee cup in my left hand without serious pain. The act of threading a belt through my pant loops required assistance from my wife. Sleeping was nearly impossible and I was a wreck due to lack of sleep. Surgery takes time to fully heal from, and I knew that going in. It also takes commitment by you, to do the exercises, and range of motion stretches prescribed by your physical therapist or doctor. If you don't do that, you will not recover completely. I knew that going in as well. Dr. Hartshorn made sure I knew that this was not going to be easy, or fun, but it (the PT and stretchers) was absolutely necessary for fast recovery and the best possible outcome. Without question or reservation of any kind, I can absolutely say that if you are reading this because you have injured your shoulder, and are at the point where a solution other than you just "roughing it out" is necessary, and you have found Dr. Tim Hartshorn, Your are one fortunate individual. It is my belief that you will NOT find a better physician, surgeon or human being than Dr. Tim Hartshorn. Congratulations, and rest easy. You are in the right place. For those wondering why, 2+ years later I might be here writing a review for Dr. Hartshorn, it is really simple. I have since injured my other shoulder, and have been in the care of a doctor who was prescribed by workers comp out here in California. I am miserable, I require surgery and I decided to reach out to Dr. Hartshorn to see if he would be willing to look at my MRI and perhaps give me a recommendation for surgeons he personally knows and would comfortably recommend out here in Cali. Well, being the rock star that he is, as I mentioned in my first paragraph, Dr. Hartshorn called me directly himself. Not his staff, or some mouth piece like I would have expected to hear from out here, but he himself. I was actually not surprised to be honest, because that is the kind of doctor Tim Hartshorn is. Like I said Boston, consider yourselves VERY fortunate to have this guy in your wheel house. It does not get any better than him. I wish you well on your treatment and recovery, but have no doubt that you will be just fine. THANK YOU Dr. Hartshorn. THANK YOU.

After losing a significant amount of weight years ago, I decided the ongoing complications and…read morediscomfort from the excess, loose skin had gotten to be too much of a burden to keep dealing with, and looked around for a surgeon to perform abdominoplasty. I narrowed it down to 3, and, after meeting with them all, it was clear to me that Dr. Markarian was the right person to turn to (the others were great, but there was a clear difference in his bedside manner, dedication, accessibility, etc, and you just knew he was the one to choose). The surgery went well, but it is a big operation with risks, and a tough recovery. Having had many other operations and hernia surgery, I knew what to expect, and was ready for this. It's important to have realistic ideas of how things will go. Part of that was my resolve that what I would see at my first post-op appointment would not look good or resemble what I would call my ideal outcome. Between swelling, bruising, a relatively fresh wound, etc, I prepared myself to not like what I saw, and to suspend judgement. I even contemplated just not looking at it to avoid risking any disappointment or regret. Dr. Markarian said to me the night of my surgery when he called to check on me, and again in that first appointment that he was really happy with how it looked even when I was laying in the OR, and that I'd be happy with it, but of course he'd say that, right? I tempered my expectations, discounted what he said, and went for a look. I was honestly blown away. With literally zero expectations except perhaps being ready to be a bit horrified, I got to see something that honestly could look just like that and never get better, and I'd be happy with it. It was so much better than what I was coming from before the operation. I've worked really hard on my fitness over the past 20 years, and this was the first time I actually felt like what I saw outside matched who I was inside, under all that skin. If that's where I was starting from, the idea of how it will only get better has just been amazing. I'm now 2 weeks ago, and it is looking better, but obviously has a long way to go. My recovery is going really well because I'm following Dr. Markarian's advice and guidance on compression, cleaning and treating the area, the right level of activity (basic walking around the house or light errands like going for gas; but not going for a walk outside), etc. I'm also making it easier on my body to heal by eating clean and healthy, and trying to rest as much as I can (which can be hard because it's not the most comfortable thing to sleep propped up with tight binders around your midsection). And through this, Dr. Markarian has shown that the personality I read in that first appointment is genuine. He's been so open, responsive, kind, caring and just a good human being. He's also clearly a skilled surgeon who takes his work really seriously and puts a lot of himself into it. I honestly couldn't be happier with things, which is not at all something I thought I'd be saying at 1 or 2 weeks. I figured it would be at least 3 months until I would know if this was the right call or not. Just so thankful to Dr. Markarian. This is literally life changing. I'm sharing this in praise of Dr. Markarian, but also specifically because, as a man, I feel that men don't tend to talk about operations like this, or get them in the first place. We stay silent or just deal with it. I'm hoping this helps folks realize it doesn't have to be that way.

Dr. Sussman performed a Tenex procedure on my right ankle for a Haglund Deformity/bone spur just a week ago and the healing process and results have been amazing. I had minor to moderate pain for just a few days but much less than I had expected. I have been able to return to normal activities in less than a week and the pain I lived with for more than a year due to the haglund deformity is gone. All of the other doctors in Southern California told me that Tenex was not an option and that my condition required an open surgery under general anesthesia and I would have many months of pain and healing. Dr Sussman performed the procedure in less than 15 minutes under local anesthesia, numbing the ankle area only. It was well worth the flight to Boston and back home to Los Angeles. I highly recommend Boston Sports and Biologics. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable. Dr Sussman is probably the premier physician in the country, if not the world, using this procedure.
