You know those commercials that stress the importance of needing a realtor, especially if you're…read morebuying a home for the first time? My situation easily could have been put into one of those commercials and Elliot would be the hero realtor in the commercial that saved the day. The time finally came where I was ready to spend my hard earned savings on a home of my own. I started looking at places online but had no idea where to begin. That's where Elliot came in. As soon as I told him what I was looking for, and in what area, he began sending me listings in my price range. I couldn't believe it: of the first three listings he sent me, I knew I found my dream home. It was love at first sight. Elliot immediately booked a viewing for me and my fiancé. He booked us viewings for all the other listings we were interested in too. So the search began. After going to all these viewings, I still had my heart set on the one I fell in love with. It was time to put in an offer. We told Elliot how low we wanted to go and he respected our wishes. When the seller countered, we came back with another low offer. Elliot listened to our requests to still go lower. He let us know of the risks of going too low (that we could lose the place) but still countered, giving the seller reasons to take our lower offer. His persistence paid off and the seller agreed! Our experience wasn't over then though. We had issues with strata fees that were supposed to be included in the cost, mailbox keys that had gone missing, property taxes, etc. Elliot stood by us the whole time. He was quick to answer our texts, calls and emails no matter the time of day. He worked with us to make sure everything went smoothly, despite a lot of our issues not being part of his job. As stressful as our closing was, Elliot was always there for us and made sure that we were happy. Even after the closing, Elliot has still been there to answer further questions we've had. Thank you Elliot for helping us find our first home and for getting us through all of the hiccups. We couldn't be happier now and won't hesitate to have Elliot help us again when we're ready to upgrade.

As first-time homebuyers in the perpetual seller's market of Greater Vancouver, we consider ourselves lucky to have found Leilani to represent us. She is competent, professional, and tenacious. She understands the market, and is an excellent communicator. Leilani was happy to explain the process and the role of the buyer's agent when we started out. We did not know exactly what we wanted/needed, and Leilani patiently helped us figure that out. She listened to our expectations, including price range, and respected them throughout the process. Leilani was honest with us throughout, telling us what to expect and strategising accordingly. When we were ready and had financing arranged, Leilani set up viewings and arranged things around our schedules. Leilani proposed and executed some creative tactics, and within a week we had an accepted offer on a property we really liked. We trusted Leilani and followed her advice, and are glad we did. Leilani worked closely with our mortgage broker to complete the financing arrangements, and remained engaged with us and our notary until closing and possession. On possession, Leilani went beyond the scope of her duties to arrange inspections and additional cleaning where the seller's agent had failed. Throughout the entire process, she was always available via phone or WhatsApp. We felt that she was truly our agent and acted in our best interest. In short, we highly recommend Leilani.

I recently decided to make some changes in my life which included selling my condominium in…read moreVancouver; in fact, the changes I wanted to make depended on it. I knew I was selling in the worst market in 30 years and was preparing for the worst while hoping for the best. It turns out that preparing for the worst was a waste of time! I had known Sharon as we both lived in the same community and often ran into each other on dog walks. When I thought about selling, there was no doubt in my mind that I was going to enlist Sharon's services. Not because I liked her as a person, but because her professional reputation and stellar sales record made her an obvious choice. Over the years I saw Sharon's signs go up all over the place and very shortly after, a sold sticker would appear. Looking at her website, I felt that she priced homes spot-on and as a result of excellent pricing and marketing, they sold quickly. My case was no different. Sharon evaluated my home and suggested a very fair asking price. I had decided to use a staging company and needed to do a few minor fix-ups which Sharon helped me coordinate. In fact, she went above and beyond and was very hands-on when it came to getting my property listed. I became quite ill shortly after listing and Sharon was even the first to bring me chicken soup and ginger-ale because she treats her clients like she treats her friends and family. Beyond the fact that Sharon is a lovely person and a delight to work with, she is also a very savvy business woman and a shrewd negotiator. During the worst market in 30 years, Sharon still managed to generate a lot of interest in my unit and when I received my first offer, she was still generating interest which really helped me when negotiating with a potential buyer. In the end, my place sold in less than half the average for Vancouver in a very slow market for the price that I wanted. I couldn't have been more thrilled. I could go on and on about how amazing Sharon is and I have told everyone who will listen to save them self the time and energy it takes to find a real estate professional and just hire Sharon. I have since left Vancouver and am sad that I won't be able to use Sharon when I purchase my new home. Sharon, I can't thank you enough for all that you did for me.
