Jeff had initially told me $3800 for my rather large deck plus we needed a wheelchair ramp that I thought to be impossible to build given the space of good solid ground he had to work with up the street. My mom had to have it. Her health isn't good. Jeff explained to me that there could be more added at the end depending on what took place at my mom's home. If it turned taking him the entire 5 days he allotted for my two projects the total would $6100.00 which I thought was a great deal due to the situation at my mom's. Jeff and I decided to knock my Deck out then move to my mom's. These guys were done with my deck in 2 days. But when they finished at my mom's and was packing up to leave after day 3 I was astonished. Especially when Jeffrey came to collect for the job. I paid $3,000 up front like Jeffrey asked. He has been very patient, attentive, and available, despite the many changes we made and unforeseeable delays, such as HOA approval, inclement weather, material shortages, etc. He is always very responsive to any emails, texts, and phone calls, communicating back to us in timely fashion, even when otherwise busy with separate projects. He has provided invaluable guidance and feedback in our design process and whatever modifications were required along the way. He is very conscientious to the slightest aspects of the project that could have larger ramifications on the whole project's outcome or later on in the future. His expertise with construction and electrical work is unsurpassed. We agreed to the price and work was to begin and be completed on Saturday May 19. Attempted to make contact before that Saturday to make sure that the job was going to be completed. He was a no show and no contact. After several attempts to contact him he finally answered a call and gave a reason that he had lost his phone. So we agreed to try again last Friday May 25. He promised that he had purchased the material and that they would work on Friday. Well again A NO SHOW. NO CALLS AND NO TEXTS. We have yet to hear from him. Completely irresponsible and unprofessional. Save yourself time and frustration and DO NOT USE Hall Decking or deal with Chad Hall. Worse than a one star but that is the lowest I can give him.
