We experienced significant cost increases, poor communication, delays, and disappointing workmanship. The 20% contractor fee structure resulted in costs far beyond what we expected, and we often struggled to get clear explanation for additional charges. We also moved into a home with unfinished work and problems that required our time and money to correct. Based on our experience, we would never recommend Lakenridge Builders.

The house is an older one, built about 1950, and no matter what you try to do, there is always an unexpected twist, a new problem to overcome. For example, we wanted to replace the old pipes in the smaller bathroom. We discovered there was no access to the pipes from the basement or crawlspace, so Wes cut a panel from the interior wall of an adjacent closet, and the problem was solved.
