We own a rental property near Big Fork and had Jeremy refit the structure with new gutters and I can say without exaggeration that I have never had a small-job service provider cause so many problems. His mistakes (6 in total!) ended up costing us $27,360 to repair/fix. The damage he caused directly and the resultant flooding is hard to wrap your head around when you look at it from the perspective that it was just the gutters that were supposed to be installed. Like, how did you even manage to do that?? Absolutely bewildering. I'm all for showing empathy to people who are struggling, especially mentally like Jeremy is, but his completely unhinged outbursts when shown the damage he did is cause for major concern. This man should not be mingling with polite society, let alone be customer-facing in a service business. Not only should you avoid this business at all costs, but you should be very weary of being near Jeremy at all, he is a powder keg waiting to blow.

He's horrible at returning calls/messages and doesn't communicate at all throughout the process. I had no idea they were planning on starting until I saw he had showed up at my neighbor's to get started. I sent multiple messages and they all went unanswered. I reminded him via text 5 days ago about a part of the job he was hired to do....no response. All the sudden today I see them on the security cam. When I get home I check to see if he did the entire job and he did not. I call him and miraculously he answers the phone and says he'll be back in a couple minutes. I ask him about when he's going to finish the job and do the other section and he says he's done. I walked him around back to show him the other area and he admits that he now remembers that he was supposed to do it, but forgot and now says he won't. His excuse is that it should have been done first before the other section and now it would be a pain for him to do. I remind him it was part of our original deal that he was already paid for and his answer is that he's going to charge me at least another $2500 because he'll have to bring his equipment back out......uhhhhh it was his mistake, but somehow he thinks it needs to be my problem. He literally just walked away at which point I advised him to expect being served with papers. Who does business like this?? Whatever you do, don't hire this guy. If you don't take that advise, absolutely don't pay him a nickel until the entire job is done correctly

We wanted new siding and roofing and as finding an honorable company in construction is sometimes hard, we asked JMartin for a recommendation. Eric and 4JBuilders did a SUPER job! They were fair and honorable with their bid and actions; timely with project start/completion; and cleaned up after themselves. They tore off the old siding; re-sided; painted; re-roofed; and subbed out new gutters and garage doors (which was also completed in a very professional and timely manner). They stayed on task from start to finish. Eric did not ask for money until a significant portion of the job was done; then the final bill came after full completion. We highly recommend 4 J Builders to anyone. They did a GREAT job for us!
