I have been going to this salon and hair dresser for 10 or more years. I have had no complaints…read moreabout the chit chat that goes on because that's one of the perks actually. You go and talk while she works and since you know her family by name and visa versa, you enjoy the visit and the hairstyle which I always have compliments on and color, also. I have had to wait at times when she would go check on someone waiting at the counter. Also she always talks me out of cutting my hair short when I get tired of it being medium length and others tell me basically the same thing. So don't fix something that's not broke, I always say.Her name is Shannon and she sure won't cut it short. Sorry you had a bad experience but please don't throw the baby out with the bath water (another favorite saying) Most of them have done really good jobs and everyone seemed happy with the results. Maybe You were just having a really bad day yourself and were, well , just not going to like anything at that point.

DO NOT GO TO REGIS SALON!!!! I went here because I am new in this town and didn't know better. My…read moreexperience started out standing at the counter waiting for some assistance while they talked to their friends right next to me. I waited about 10 minutes before they acknowledged me. Finally we get started with washing my hair and then cutting it. They were gossiping like crazy it was giving me a headache. I hate gossip especially if I don't know who they are gossiping about. Then the stylist put an excessive amount of hair products and hairspray. The style I asked for was an ashlee simpson chic, straight, and slick razor cut. I ended up walking out with what looked similar to Snooki's poof on top of my head. So, I get home and brush it all out and then I realized why she poofed up my hair. So she could hide the all of the of hair she chopped off! There are random areas all over my head with less than an inch of hair. It's upsetting to me because I had really long hair and the person I trusted to cut my hair ruined it. I am not kidding about this or exaggerating. I have patches of hair that is really short. Like an inch or less. I didn't get the style I asked for and was not comfortable the entire time. The worst experience ever.
