First we did our engagement session. I wanted the classic outdoor natural lighting, but then being in the entertainment industry we wanted something a little more cinematic but fun and Martha understood. We found lounge that had different rooms of decor. Capturing our eclectic tastes! Next, Martha and Jesus flew over to New Orleans and spent the weekend with us. Starting with our welcome cocktail. They captured the celebration of everyone who had just made it to the Big Easy on Halloween Night! The details of the masks and other costume accessories were captured from the welcome station to the fun of putting them on and parading about during the cocktail. Finally the big day came. At this point I was impressed at how quickly I was already getting teasers of the welcome that I already knew I was in for a treat with our wedding day pictures. I don't understand how Martha and Jesus have all the energy but just when I thought they were on one end of the room, there they were capturing another corner and moment. I think everyone remembers how impressed they were of the moments captured during our "Second Line" and how they were zig zagging around capturing all the dreamy photos one would hope for! Well, that's exactly what happened when I stumbled across one of his pictures on social media. I immediately went to his profile, and I was completely in love with his pictures. I was blown away. I did not read his reviews online or did not know anyone who could have recommended him to me. I booked him right away for our engagement/10-year anniversary shoot and that same day I wasted no time and booked him for the wedding as well lol. He was the first one I booked even without having a venue or anything else. As I went to my vendors for the wedding when they asked who the photographer was everyone spoke incredible things about him, about his talent, professionalism, and how amazing he is and to think that all of this started based on one of his professional pictures on social media. His pictures were unique, artistic, and completely different to what you see out there, which was exactly what I was looking for. Then, once my husband and I meet him "we fell in love" lol literally. What's not to love? He has a great personality, approachable, professional, funny, adventurous, and cool. He is easy to work with and a true artist and a creator of magic with his lens.
