    V. Appliance Repair completely deserves their five-star ratings. Dmitry arrived within the…read morescheduled time period, on the earlier end. He was professional, and got right to business. He did not waste any time, which I appreciate. He did a thorough diagnostics, told me what was wrong, how much and how long it would take to repair my dryer. No sales pitch, no gimmicks, and he did not try to sell me anything extra. He is very knowledgeable and honest. At one point, my dryer did something strange and he admitted he was not sure what it was. But he did not give up and figured it out. Our machine is OLD, but he repaired it under an hour, the same day, and saved us hundreds by not needing to by a new one. He also cleaned out the dryer, which was no small task. In addition, he cleaned up after he was finished. His prices are fair and service is excellent. He will be our first choice if we need any future appliance repairs. I highly recommend! Thank you, Dmitry!

Profssional service, in-depth repair consultation and a clear showing of what the problems were. **Unfortunately for us after an extremely complete service visit - the Washing Machine was declared DEAD. V. Appliance Repair in Ventura is Honest, professional, and wonderfully knowledgeable. YES I WOULD RECOMMEND V. APPLIANCE REPAIR. One of the best complete service visits i have had and I'm 74 years old. Call Them = you won't regret it!!! The value for the diagnostic was very reasonable and fair.

I was looking for parts on a JennAir Wall / Double Oven from around 1989 or 1990…read more I spoke to Sandy what a Gem and wealth of knowledge she has!! She didn't have the part but strongly recommended Monty Electronics in Camarillo. 805- 383-7796 to have relay boards rebuilt. She also highly recommend, Ernie from Mobile Tech 805-815-9197. Our usual Appliance Repair person, Dimitri - who we love, recommended I consult with somebody who had experience with doing this job on older ovens. He was very honest and said he hadn't done this kind of job on older ovens before. REALLY appreciated that while he was willing to do job, recommendation that we call older people Appliance Repair person with experience on these ovens!! That's Integrity!! Called Monty first. He was very delighted to hear of Sandy's referral and strong recommendation, he said he wasn't familiar with her store. BUT he was very familiar with Ernie and he also gave him a strong recommendation. He said Ernie brings him boards all the time. Next up, Ernie. Another Gem with a wealth of knowledge on older ovens. Ernie said relay was probably only part of problem. If we wanted to keep oven - good idea to also replace heating coils and temperature sensor probes in ovens. Coils fool people they're ok, but crystals inside can be breaking down, even though coil still red. So today I had reinforced that a) Lots of Great Peeps in Oxnard who are honest and want to help. b) Experience counts! c) Shop Local first before Google searching and looking for places to mail parts to to be repaired!

He was super responsive - and that definitely is a huge plus…read more BUT he offered to do a job for $75, but when the part came in he wanted $150. After agreeing to do it for $120 - once he had done the job and the dryer diagnosis he wanted $150. I would not recommend Jon or ever call him again! Here are some details But here is where he didn't earn 5 stars from me a) Tons of Drama!. I had a wine cooler - and he charged me $79.99 for diagnosing the problem - which was the the thermostat. b) He told me that it would be an additional $350, for him to order the part and install it - but I told him that I could order the part myself (BTW - for $150). At which point he told me - there would be no warranty and he would install it for $75. c) So we agreed, I would order the part, and he would be back to install it for $75. While leaving I told him I had a dryer that also needed looking at - and he said since he is coming back he would look at it for NO CHARGE. d) 2 weeks later, I got the part, and I texted Jon. After re-introducing myself, he told me that it would now cost $150 to install it. After some back and forth, he agreed to $120 - and he also agreed that he would look at the dryer. e) He came today - installed the thermostat in the wine cooler - spent 15 mins on the dryer - and wanted $150. When I told him about the $120 - he had the gall to tell me that next time I could use somebody else. I definitely will use someone else. What a bad experience - NEVER AGAIN
