This is my second time buying balloons from them. They have a wide range of balloons and conveniently close to my house. Service is excellent but balloons are pricey. I don't have problem with that since I don't buy it all the time and they lasted for over a week. I recommend checking them out for your next party. The balloons are gorgeous and really great quality. Although not guaranteed for outdoors, I can say they are fit for such purpose. Invoiced receipt arrived promptly as well. Now the bad - same day delivery never occurred. I was chastised for ordering same day requiring alternate delivery service, happily paid the fees but the product never arrived. Within 24hrs the balloons were still absent. They could not fulfill promise of paid invoice and as such, would not recommend their service. Additionally, Heather chastised me for ordering same day, calling after hours when balloons never arrived and for somehow allowing their delivery driver to give balloons to an "old woman" who evidently was not me. Asking for partial refund was obfuscated through email with no timely response. They've got great balloons but no customer service professionalism and can not fulfill their contract after receiving payment. read more

So I was really impressed with the way this place ties their balloons. Usually they move around alot, but these were tied in a way to keep them still for pictures. Usually you only see one string per balloon and you can't keep large balloons straight. I took off one star because I had to use their website and it was very annoying. I had to call then numeroys times when I got stuck. E.g. it would not accept the various emails I tried. So they let me enter theirs! Anyways, granted they fix the bugs on their site, this place is pretty good. Prices are pretty average with other places. The service was friendly. I would definitely go back here again. read more

Such great service! I had called the day before I needed balloons delivered for Dragon Boy's birthday. I had tried contacting another Vancouver company as well but they were not able to deliver on the day that I wanted....so lucky for me the Balloon Studio was there to save the day! I called first thing Sunday morning and Carlos was able to put through my order no problem. He even mentioned that they were closed Monday but would still be able to deliver the balloons even on their day off. He was able to provide an estimated delivery time even though I told him anytime during business hours would be fine. Dragon boy got his balloons no problem! He brought them home from the office where they happily were displayed in our living room. When we woke up in the morning, we were sad to see that one of the balloons had somehow collapsed with a tear in it. I emailed the store back right away to see if there was anyway we could get the balloon fixed/repaired. Carlos emailed back to say he was sending over a new balloon right away to Dragon Boy's office. Overall a great experience. I will have to drop by the store sometime to check out their balloons in person. Great customer service, decent pricing, and owners/staff who own up to their word. I was in a bit of a last-minute situation on a Sunday afternoon, and thankfully Balloon Studio was open! Tammy, the person helping me, was really nice. Could tell I was stressed out over the phone and said all the right things to calm me down, especially when I went to the wrong location, she gave me directions and told me to drive safe and take my time. She selflessly seemed more concerned about my well-being, than her being able to leave work on time. My experience with Balloon Studio is that they really take their time to help their customer, and offer solutions, and are truly experts in the balloon industry with years of practical experience. I bought those trendy silver "letter" helium balloons. Tammy knew about how helium reacts to the temperature in an environment, so filled my balloons slightly less than full, so they would have the opportunity to expand without bursting. She tidied up her counterspace so I could take a good photo of the balloons I had purchased in the store and told me that her home was my home, and I could do whatever I wanted to get that great photo for Instagram. Given my circumstance and situation, I couldn't imagine receiving better customer service for what I needed. Never thought I would have so much to say about a balloon store! read more

A friend heard I was looking for balloons for our wedding and referred us to the balloon studio. I arrived and Carlos found me and started to assist me with my decisions on what we REALLY needed for our event. He suggested that the inflate and deliver for us, not only is that a easier option but price wise it was much less than the other party supply stores we were looking at. Rented a helium tank yesterday and the owner offer a discount on the medium size because the small size wasnt available. I was told that the tank was good for 220 balloons, Igot 325 cheap balloons from the dollar store and we filled them all. So it was a good value. 4 stars because they close too early, they waited for me until 5 to returned the tank, hope they extend their hours during the week. Ill be back for sure read more

Extremely unsatisfied with a product I ordered for an event over the long weekend. Online photo of the product looks was not reflected in the item that was delivered. Delivered product looked more like a balloon column than a bottle. Studio refused to provide refund as they were not informed that day. A policy which was NEVER VERBALLY provided or WRITTEN at the time of purchase during the time of order or delivery. (I PURCHASED THIS ITEM OVER THE PHONE) When the product was delivered the instructions provided were to remove from the bags and display the night before. When the issue was discovered the night before the event and a voicemail left, I received a call two business days later letting me know its too late for a refund. I think the hardest part about the whole service is we ordered several items from this studio for this event. Other products turned out great. If i was aware of the policy of course I would have double checked I was satisfied but based on the information provided, it didn't seem necessary. I had hunted around to see what balloon stores exist out there, and the Balloon Studio seemed the best. I was not disappointed! And Tammy who helped me was awesome and is totally in to balloons... and best of all she didn't care that I was on a budget but was totally happy to help me figure out the most I could do with the little I could afford. I'd never gone balloon hunting before and had no idea that there is an entire world of balloons out there! I loved how enthusiastic Tammy was about balloons, it made the whole shopping thing fun. I would NEVER order balloons from Balloon Studio again! The experience in the store with the woman who is always there was wonderful. She really loves her job and has a good eye. She took the time to listen to what I wanted & she helped me choose the colors to best suit my kid's party. She put the balloons in a Tupperware (I assumed they would stay there until they were blown up for the party). I didn't think to write down the color selection nor did she on the invoice. I asked her how early I could pick them up as I had a morning of running errands for the party & I didnt have time to wait while they were blown up. She told me 9am. I went to pick them up on the day of the party, just before 9am, & I had a feeling the colors were off. I mentioned it to the male manager, however, I wasn't 100% sure and I was in a rush. They were in fact wrong as I later recalled the colors were not what I had chose with the woman as certain colors were missing based on the invitation I wanted the balloon colors to match. I called to resolve the issue and spoke to the male manager who met me the morning I picked up the balloons. He went on the attack and accused me of lying to save some money. I have never been treated with such disrespect from a store manager or anything professional for that matter. He didn't even suggest I speak to the person I actually ordered the balloons from or anything. read more

Way to ruin the surprise, Balloon Studio. I made my order online, and didn't receive ANY confirmation. I had to call in to confirm that the payment did go through. I asked if the balloons can be delivered on Monday (which was my boyfriend's birthday) instead of Sunday (they are closed Monday's). And if it wasn't possible, that's fine, I will make sure he's home to receive it on Sunday. The person on the phone told me it was fine and it's going to be delivered on Monday. Hey guess what? The balloons were delivered today. Now I am sitting here, awkwardly talking about these goddamn balloons that I thought were going to be delivered tomorrow. If you can't do it, you could have called me. Even if the employee wasn't supposed to tell me Monday was okay, regular protocol is to contact the customer and let the customer know. I paid a $20 delivery fee for it to come on the wrong day. Seriously, good job. read more
