It turns out she was serving this Charles guy court paperwork and I discovered later that she had "served" or left the papers on my porch. It was very clear she didn't assume I was Charles and this was the correct spot I didn't know she was a process server until couple hours later when I went outside. Very inappropriate to dump legal papers on any old porch and then report the person had been served. Its illegal. To make matters worse I called that tiny little legal office to let them know about the mistake and was met with hostility and a lack of caring they didn't serve the person but have it reported as if they had.Pathetic. To be fair it's about what I expect out of collections attorneys

In the consultation after about 15 minutes Mr. Enbody cut me off from while I was still trying to ask questions and told me he would be sent something in the mail. I later received a copy of the legal document I was discussing in the consultation in my email, and later I received a bill for said document. I had never requested that this document be created, and never agreed to pay for it. At that point I was just trying to learn more about it in the consultation. I then had to get assistance from the employee assistance program to dispute the bill for the service that I had never requested. The bill was eventually dropped though.

She understands your needs and is empathetic to them. She is your cheerleader along the way. She was incredibly knowledgeable and attentive, answering all my questions about the Washington legal process and putting my mind at ease. You're not alone when working with Sherri! She stays in communication with you, updates you when a task needs to be completed or when it's coming up in the near future - such as when the "cooling off" period ends and it's time to submit final forms to the court facilitator. You're able to meet with her via phone and chat via email, as well as in person. She is quite accommodating! My personal case was simple - no kids, uncontested, so a couple calls and a few emails and that was it. Easy peasy with Sherri! She was peace of mind when I needed it the most. You'll pay a flat rate to her and nothing more. There are no hidden fees. She handles/prepares your paperwork and you can continually review for accuracy. She works with an attorney as well, but that's also included in her one time fee. Again, one flat rate, no hidden costs! This is a great option for any legal paperwork processing. She is not an attorney and therefore can't offer legal guidance. She is there for you to help guide you and complete the paperwork on your behalf, based on what you tell her to process. Such as, we had no kids, it's uncontested, but we do own a home together and will be splitting its profits. I can't thank Sherri enough for all she did for us. A wonderful experience during a not-so-wonderful life moment.

But she took her time (free of charge) to answer my questions, give me referrals in my county, a book on custody recommendation, and share some insights from her life that were very helpful and honest. I recommend Sherri as a good and honest human who knows the landscape of this process well.

I contacted brown and seelye to seek information regarding filing for bankruptcy. I lived in…read moreWashington and recently moved to Oregon. The person who answered the phone was so incredibly rude I can't imagine how these people stay in business. I was told very rudely "we don't do phone consultations" I was told that I had to make an appointment to go in and speak with someone. Seeing as that I live 5 hours away by car I asked if a phone call would not be available. I asked if it was because of legal reasons as to why I cannot do a phone consultation and again she just laughed at me sarcastically and said "we don't' do that, our attorney's are very busy so you would need to come in." so apparently they are too busy to talk on the phone but not to busy for me to be standing there?? What logic is this? For someone filing bankruptcy this is a sensitive, embarrassing, and emotionally devastating situation, the woman was so incredibly rude I could not believe it. She then snarkely asked if she could answer any questions and I said well I have never filed bankruptcy so I need to know what it will take, how much it will, cost and what I need to do, and she listed off things I need to bring so fast that I got one item written down. When she said that I needed to bring income and I told her that I haven't been working she laughed at me and said well how am I paying bills and where do I live, I told her that we just moved in with my in-laws and she laughed at me. Bankruptcy is hitting an ultimate low my husband and I lost a business and all of our possessions we are seeking an attorney for help during the most difficult time and that was how we are greeted. I started to tell her that her attitude was very rude for such a sensitive thing and she said "well im hanging up now" and hung up on me. I called back and asked to speak with a manager and she said no, she is the only one in the office and that the attorneys don't have voicemail. I would NOT RECOMMEND this firm AT AL!!! IF this is who they feel confident in running their business and answering and greeting their customers then I would stay as far away from this firm as possible, because this is the level of service I can expect for my money. Needless to say I will be contacting a different firm and working with someone who can hire people who understand how to talk to people. It was very apparent this women hated her job and could care less if the attorneys received business. Such a pitty. I have to give this 1 star i would give no stars if I could.
