Actually, what was annoying was that the outside area was pretty packed which meant that we ended up having to sit inside, which wasn't a bad thing, but the European outside experience is much better than it is in Australia (in many cases they try to be European and fail abyssimally - for some reason I simply don't like sitting on sidewalk seats in Australia). Anyway, this is basically a beer bar, and a pretty cool one at that. When I was there it was pretty quiet (except for the fact that there were no seats outside) but it had a pretty nice atmosphere and a great interior. Personally I probably can't say all that much beyond that, expect that it was pretty cool and I really enjoyed it.

Real old school cats jammin' out as if no one else is there. The crowd is hypnotized and for good reason, as the musicians are spellbinding. I felt a little out of place at first since my idea of jazz is limited, and by limited, I mean whatever Carrie listens to on Homeland, but after a couple songs and a couple martinis, I was at ease. When there is a band playing, it's quite intimidating walking in, but just do it and you will be handsomely rewarded with an evening of magical tunes and adult bevvies.
