Want to have fun, feel energized, meet people, move to the music and get fit all at the same time? Then you have to do what I did, and get over to Jazzercise at Woodmere Park! (Or a location near you) I used to be a dyed-in-the-wool "gym rat", at the gym at 5:30am when they opened, doing the same thing 5 days every week for years (yawn). No wonder I got bored! But with Karen (the owner/instructor) and the other instructors at Jazzercise, it's always fresh, because everyone's personalty is different. So each one has something unique to bring to each class, keeping it upbeat and fun. We work out, we sweat, we laugh, and we leave feeling energized. History

Established in 2020.

Jazzercise Inc was started over 50 years ago, but Karen Schroll has been an instructor for 10+ years & the owner of Jazzercise Venice since fall of 2020! We have done great things like hosting annual pink out dance days in October for Breast Cancer Awareness Month, to offering excellent classes that will not only help you with your fitness goals, but will also leave you loving your workout while having fun! :) This fall we also opened a LO class for those that can't hop & jump & want to work on balance, stability & strength using chairs for stability & incorporating weights & mini-bands to build muscle!

Hi there! My name is Karen & I am the owner of Jazzercise Venice & Jazzercise Sarasota MDC. I LOVE my job! I am so passionate about what I do as a Jazzercise instructor & owner because I get to help people have fun while working out & spreading positivity & joy into the world at the same time! I have worked hard to grow my business so that we can help as many people as possible love to workout & see that strength is so important for our day-to-day activities! I love our program because the hour class flys by with the fabulous music that all of our routines are choreographed to!

I've learned so much already and we've only just begun the Program they offer which I of course immediately said "Sign Me Up!" to the Manager of the facility! My wife, Professional Interior Design and Color Specialist, asked me to also provide a Review in her behalf of her experience at YouFit Jacaranda. She has trained with David, a Professional Trainer with years of experience. You know when David is at the facility training one his many clients there. Just look for a guy with the YouFit Trainer T-shirt wearing very colorful 'tennis' shoes. Different brightly-colored tennis shoes each day! One of his distinguishing trademarks. My wife loved training with David and is looking towards getting into returning to the gym and signing up for more training with David. I know this is a rather lengthy Review but we believe that this YouFit Jacaranda location deserves 'more stars' Reviews providing more exposure for the excellent training being received by their Professional Trainers. I loved the sweet welcome note on my locker. Someone also came up to me on my bike to check in and make sure I'd gotten my bike set up ok. The class format was exactly what I'm used to - perfectly challenging with a great playlist. The only downside is that the bikes don't have holders for the arm weights. The studio emailed me after the fact to thank me for visiting (it seemed personalized, not automated?). Great experience!

And their a huge pool in the right of the park. My complaints is however that the park was extremely cold. It is spring break and it was 65 degrees outside which isn't cold at all but for going to a water park it's like being in Antarctica. The pools aren't heated even though on the website it says the water stays 80-84 degrees at all times. The lazy river is quite dirty. There was some bugs and leaves in there. The bathrooms and changing rooms were very clean. The slides are the most fun part of the park. The bigger looking one that requires you to go on with a floaty is the best and I also really like the side one. The lazy river is the most warmest for some reason. Hope it's not pee........ Overall a decent and pretty fun waterpark only if you are cold resistant and if you like slides and lazy rivers.

I wanted to follow up with you to provide some feedback on our sunset tour that we did through your…read morecompany on July 31, 2025. This was scheduled for 6 pm - 8 pm. Prior to departure the tour guide assured me and my 18-year-old daughter that we would be back before dark as it was illegal to ride wave runners after dark. We selected the Sunset Tour option with this understanding as it was the first time I had ever rode a wave runner and neither myself or my daughter have ever rode one in the gulf which is quite different from a lake experience where we live. The tour guide was very nice and explained how to operate the wave runner to me and did a great job accommodating my daughter and myself during the tour. However, on the way back we were in complete darkness and could not even see the signs to tell us the information needed for no wake zones etc... The tour guide had to pull out his phone to see what the signs would say and I felt we were in a very dangerous situation. We did not get back to the dock until 9:20 pm - this was over an hour later than scheduled. It was a very scary experience and I had asked the tour guide how many sunset tours he had done and he said that this was his first one. I believe he was around 19-20 years old which was not an issue except for I would question what type of training he has had on time management as this experience could have resulted in an incident due to the risks of driving these wave runners in complete darkness.

Captain Memo's is on a much bigger ship, and though my kids had fun on it, I would call it "manic fun". There were an insane amount of people on board and all the kids were running and screaming everywhere (my daughter ended up getting elbowed in the eye), and we felt like we were dying of heat stroke because the ship has very poor ventilation and not enough shady seats. For the Pirate Cruise of Cortez, we absolutely LOVED it!! It was 1000% worth the hour drive from Clearwater. It's a decent sized boat with just the right number of people on board and shady seats with great breezes to keep us cool. It was extremely engaging and they had a very fun itinerary. My kids were wildly entertained and they did a great job keeping the kids' attention and keeping things under control. The staff put on an awesome show full of magic and wonder and did a fantastic job engaging with the kids. I could've sat back and watched the whole time from a comfortable and breezy bench in the shade, but it was so much fun that I found myself getting involved and having a great time. We went first thing in the morning and the weather was perfect. I can't recommend this place enough!! ‍
