We arrived to find it closed but before we could get back in the car, Karen drove in and offered to open early for us. I booked a day with my niece for the Hocus Pocus painting as a way to spend time together. The venue is right near some fantastic restaurants and parking is easy to find. We arrived and got checked in. Some late comers caused a late start, but we didn't have any timeframe to abide by. The host of the paint day, Bridget, put on Hocus Pocus to have in the background while we painted! She was very organized and gave very clear instructions. We had a great time and I think this is one of my favorite painting venues. It is BYOB for those who are of age, and just remember that anything you bring in must be consumed by the end of the paint event. If you love painting events like I do, or you've never tried one before like my niece, I highly recommend Painting at Splash in New Bedford!
