I went in on Wednesday August 15 at around 10:00 am and the girl (I don't know her name) did a tattoo on my foot of a flower. She used a brown henna which I thought was strange because in the past (in other shops) Black was used because I'm dark brown and it showed up fine but she insisted that after a full 24 hours I will be able to see it. WRONG! I could not see it. There was another tattoo/nail shop on circuit ave that I went into to ask why did this henna tattoo not show up on me and he said it is because the henna is brown and i am brown Duh?? So I don't know why the girl insisted that I would see it the next. Just a heads up for brown girls don't waste your money because if your dark brown the TATTOO WILL NOT SHOW. Literally the kids, parents yet, he did not speak to my mother and I but kept looking at us. He was extremely rude and it was not okay. When asked about his accountability, he said, "I was busy"... however you were not too busy and VERY excited to help me last year when I purchased from you. In addition there was music playing by Marvin Gaye and in his irritation (clearly with us), he turned the music saying "it's driving me crazy" and turned it to "another artist". I've been coming to Martha's Vineyard for years actually decades and this level of treatment is unacceptable. I'm disappointed in the beyond lack of customer service he gave MY mother. I will never shop in there again nor will I make a recommendation to anyone to shop there.

Compared to plenty of other antique stores, this place has great bargains! She was even kinder for allowing me to charge my phone while we explored through Oak Bluffs. To Note: *Sea Bags are made out of sails & transformed into nautically inspired totes & accessories. *They clean their sails before making them into bags as the materials retain their origin. *All SB materials come from Maine, New England & the USA in that order. *The sails are collected locally by passionate boaters with the community waters as their happy playground. *Each Sea Bag is created by different & skillful Maine individuals; artist, craftspeople, design school graduates & world-class sewers. *On the Ecco effort, for the last 15 years, SB has saved over 500 tons of material from going into landfills.
