That was our initial reaction to the family photos that Alina shot for us this past weekend. My wife, dog (Macy), and I want to do yearly family photos and needed a photographer in the Northern Virginia area. After a few google searches, we came across Alina Thomas Photography - and we were sold. Alina is THE BEST photographer we have ever worked with, not only was she extremely flexible with our schedule she went out of her way to make us feel comfortable during the shoot. I believe one of the key elements that differentiate a good photographer from a great photographer is their ability to make the shoot fun and you feel comfortable. Alina talked us through each of the poses and looks she needed to get the perfect shot, and the results are amazing! I wish we knew about Alina when we were looking for our wedding photographer, after seeing some of her wedding albums and then experiencing her in action first hand I would have booked her over all the others.
