Worst place ever to try and do business with. The owner (Scott I believe) is a complete jerk with absolutely no sales skills at all. Came to our home over two weeks ago to quote a job to replace flooring with new plywood with LVT flooring. Stated he would like to have the installer come by with him in a day or so to look at the job. We went into the store and picked out flooring. We expressed that we wanted to get the job done the first week of May. A week later we were back in the store and the person we talked to said he got with the owner who stated he call to set up time first of the week. Another week later still no call. Went to the store to take back the sample. The same gentleman stated he would give the owner the message stating we are still waiting on him. Called two days later spoke with a lady about not hearing anything. She stated she Would have him call me. Two days later I stopped by the store, a young girl asked if she could help and my name. The owner came out from back as I was explaining to her that we have been waiting on him for over two weeks. He addressed her as if I was even there. He told her " I will call him Monday". I asked who he is referring too? He stated - you. Couldn't even address me directly. I suggested he not call me and that he business manner is awful. He statement was "whatever". read more

We needed new flooring for our kitchen. The grout was popping out and the tiles were broken. We checked out different flooring stores and Jaynes had the best selection. They had to order the tile, and when it arrived we agreed on an installation date. The installers came when they said they would and did a great job removing old, broken tile and installing the new. They cleaned up after the job too. We couldn't be happier with the service! read more

We went to Jaynes Flooring to look see about getting new carpet for our 3 bedrooms. We were greeted and helped by Sydney. She was very helpful and sweet. We took some samples home with us and picked out what we wanted. Once a decision was made Scott promptly came out and measured. What we had priced was the best you can buy as far as carpet was concerned and honestly the price shocked us. But Scott did help us find the same color of carpet, but in a step down version from the top of the line. That price made getting the new carpet so much easier. We set up a time for the installers to come and they were really nice guys. Our walls that we had newly painted before the new carpet got installed got some scratches from getting the carpet installed. We sent pictures to Scott and he had a painter come out and fix it all. Can't ask for better customer service than that! That's how you do business in a small town. We would much rather do business with privately owned businesses than with the big franchises any day. Next we will go and see about new LVP flooring for the rest of the house because our dream is to redo our kitchen. We'll start with Jaynes Flooring. read more

Lovely place to buy flooring. Every salesperson we spoke with was knowledgeable, patient, and helpful. We will be self-installing due to being on a time crunch with pregnancy and the quality of the luxury vinyl plank we bought is amazing. We paid less for it than what we would have bought at a big box store and we were able to support a local business which was even better. They got new installers this year and they didn't do a good job on half the flooring they laid. They didn't even lay it the same direction as half the house they did well on and used no leveling materials on the half that was shoddy work. We called Jaynes and were told by an employee they had MANY complaints about the new installers. Yet after it being brought to the attention of management, they lied to get out of making it right. Would that we had postponed final payment until the shoddy job was revealed for what it was. We won't use them ever again and it's sad that despite good customer service in the past, they prioritized their profit margin over keeping potential long term customers this year. read more

I was looking for cheap carpet to finish a 25x25 bonus room. I called a few places who didn't understand cheap - they were trying to upgrade this and that. Jaynes understood from the get go and immediately went to the apartment grade carpet, exactly what I wanted! The pricing was very fair, the installer was on time and best of all, the install went perfect! I will definitely be back in the future. read more

Was new to town and wanted a natural stone for the bathroom and utility room installed. Everything seemed nice in the store, I'm assuming the wife, was pretty crabby but she was probably having a bad day, or year..... Anyways they sent over the tile installers who were super cool but sadly claimed they had never installed this type of tile and apparently had a hard time doing so. It turned out all right except for a couple of uneven spots in the bathroom. Very noticeable without shoes on, coming out of the shower. What really got me mad was all the left over stone that wasn't cheap to say the least that I had to apparently pay for. Called the owner he said it comes in crates and I needed 2. That's great how about you keep the left over and give me a refund for the amount left over, nope. And be advised this was way more than the common added 10% for most tile jobs. Almost enough to retile the bathroom over again. read more
