Everytime I come in there is at least one staff asking me if I'm finding everything ok. They are always knowledgeable and helpful when I need directions or suggestions. There's never a problem finding parking spots in the lot. The store is clean and well organized. This is one of my go to places for wines and more~

I am editing this as the company responded so here's my edit: I posted the original review right…read moreafter my experience but after discussing with my sister we realized a lot. First off we noticed only people who were not of color coming out with purchases and just to include this we are people of color. When entering seeing both of us in a "group" they should have id as at door instead of wasting my time just like other places do that don't allow minors also their policy only says minors are not allowed in store in Indiana and if there is a minor there should be someone who is of drinking age but I proceed. Before checking out my sister saw someone not of color checking out and the cashier did not ask for ID I will say this lady was probably 40s-50s. When the manager came to talk to us a man of color came up to us & said he didn't have his ID but he's 49 and if that would be a problem when the manager (Caucasian man) instantly told him he wouldn't allow him to buy. I totally understand having rules for stores because underage drinking is bad but after reading other reviews I started noticing a problem with consistency which Is not okay and very frustrating seeing In an area where there are a lot of people of color. Like I said before I understand the policies which is why I didn't discuss further and left to another store in a better area. Overall I want to inform others of my experience and to shop elsewhere instead of wasting your time like I did. Original: You cannot buy only one person if there's a group all must show id we were asked to both show id as my sister is "underage" which was fine but I was the only one buying we talked to the manager and he said there has to be someone 21+ which I am 23 so there shouldn't be a problem but he denied me I just brought my sister as the area isn't good and I didn't want her to stay in the car so just be sure to keep in mind when coming here! I will say it's never happened to me even with other 21+ friends so this might be new.

Sacramento Liquor - Clean store front with no people or chaos.

When you move, one of the low-key stressful questions is: is my new spot gonna hit like my old one?…read moreEspecially when it comes to your go-to liquor store. Prices, selection, vibe--it all matters. I got lucky with Sacramento Liquor. First thing I checked? Prices. Cigarettes--same as my old spot. Beer--consistent. No weird "new neighborhood tax," which I respect heavily because not every store keeps it fair like that. Now here's where Sam stands out. I'm a regular. I'm in there every couple days grabbing a 12-pack, and yeah--daily for cigarettes. When I first moved over, they didn't carry the exact kind I like. I mentioned it once, not even expecting anything... and next thing I know? He starts stocking them. That's not corporate behavior--that's paying attention to your customers. And it's not just me. You can tell this place runs on relationships. People come in from other areas just because they like Sam. That says everything. The vibe is real too. It's not just "grab your stuff and go." We've had conversations about everything--cricket, what's selling, what the store might need next. It's always easy, always respectful, never rushed. It honestly feels less like a transaction and more like stopping by a friend's spot on your way home. Cleanliness? On point every single time. I either see him actively tidying up, or it's obvious he just got done. The store never feels neglected or chaotic. And something I really noticed--because this matters more than people say--it's peaceful out front. A lot of liquor stores deal with people lingering, asking for money, or just creating a tense environment. That's not the case here. There's a park right across the street where people tend to hang out, and there's a clear level of respect for his storefront. No crowding the entrance, no pressure when you walk in or out. It stays calm, and that makes a huge difference. Store itself? Always stocked on the essentials, easy in-and-out, no chaos. It does exactly what it needs to do--and then Sam adds the extra layer that keeps you coming back. If you want a liquor store where: * prices stay fair * the owner actually listens * the space is clean and calm * and you're treated like a person, not a transaction This is your spot. I didn't just find a convenient store--I found my new go-to.

I come see Sam every Friday to start my weekend. He's always in a great mood. Great energy! I can…read morecount on finding a new whisky to try here Cheers!
