Karri at Jay Williams State Farm is the greatest agent ever! She takes the time make sure that the customer understands everything that's going on! If you've had any issues with State Farm, ask for Karri. She probably won't able to fix all issues but I'm most certain that she will take the time to tell you exactly what's going on and also help you to understand. She really goes over and beyond. She noticed I had a change on my policy last week and she called me. Today, there was even another update that we spoke about on the phone and she sent a courtesy message to me to let me know something would take in effect sooner than I thought. We've been State Farm customers since the late 1970's and Jay became our local agent when we moved to the Atlanta area in 1996. I am not a big "Yelp" person but wanted to share our experience. Whether a roofing claim, help insure our business, making sure we have the right coverage (even though it lowered our rates) or helping when our BMW was damaged by another driver and their insurance company wanted to total our car - they had even scheduled a company to pick it up before we were provided any information on the claim, Jay his team, and State Farm always have our back. Terrible customer service. It is clear that Jay Williams is only out for himself and has no interest in serving clients' best interests. Main concern for him is what products he can sell you to increase his bottom line. I would not recommend this agent to anyone. read more

This agency is nice and they will make you feel good about your insurance product. But when a claim is filed, they will protect their company and not their client, which makes sense since they are highly corporate. Product is good but loyalty and customer service is weak. I switched to All State since I had a bad experience because they paid out and sided with my neighbor so my neighbor would leave them alone. Again great product but if someone legally threatens Jay Williams firm, they will cave and cater to their threats and not their client. Just know if you come on aboard with Jay Williams you are essentially a number not a client who they really care about. If you are going State Farm insurance I would recommend Van Baird over Jay Williams. Jay has more of a corporate approach and Van has more of a relational approach. Again just my opinion but I spoke to Jay personally to tell him how I felt about his business approach. I was with Jay's firm for 5 years and dropped him like a bad habit once I was hung out to dry and realize I was just number and not a person. read more
