We'd already gotten a bid from another company, but when Cody came out to give us his estimate, one of the first things he pointed out was that our berm home would need a specific type of flooring to give us the real hardwood we wanted. He explained why our original choice wouldn't work in our home and helped us understand our options. I'm so thankful he spoke up. He could have simply gone ahead with what we picked, and we might have been replacing it a few years down the road. That kind of honesty means a lot to us. When we went back in to look over our selections and make a few changes, Colleen was so helpful! She took the time to go through everything with us and made it easy to settle on what we wanted. The hardest part for me was being patient because I was already dreaming of what my house would look like after everything was done. We also had other work going on in our home, and Canterbury worked with our timeline so the other contractors could finish first. When installation day came, the crew worked steadily from the time they arrived until they left, cleaned up after themselves, and treated our home with so much respect. We also hired them to redo the stonework around our wood stove, and I can't even begin to tell you how beautiful it turned out! From the showroom staff to the delivery guys and the installers, everyone was a blessing to work with. They kept us in the loop, answered our questions, and took such good care of us and our home. He and his team were on time, and prepared the site so that dust and debris was minimalized and they finished quickly. The varnish was a good match to the rest of my floor. Could not get him to return a call, finally would text with me after trying to get him to call for over a week. Said he was working in my neighborhood and could stop by in a week. Will update this post as issue unravels. UPDATE: Wayley came by and reviewed the flooring problems and indicated there was not enough room allowed for expansion during installation. Now says some flooring will need to be taken up and trimmed. Entire floor will need to be resanded and refinished. Will update.

It seemed like he was bringing whoever could come along to help. Screw holes not all spackled and sanded, wall anchors all painted over rather than punched in and speckled, several paint drippings. Above all the doors there were slice marks in the drywall like they cut the taped paper off. The wooden rafters in the living room had paint all over the ends. Sloppy job. He did do a nice job of patching over an outlet box for a no longer existing light switch and fixed a patch of mold under one window. But I spent the following week fixing everything. I do not recommend for painting.
