They tackled my car with the greatest care and concern that I've ever seen from any other mechanics I've worked with. Nestor was constantly in contact with me throughout the whole time, and answered any questions/concerns I had. He was also aware that I had a budget and would let me know right away if something were to cost too much and would offer me options. A week or so after my car was finished, I had a leaking problem. Called Nestor, and I brought it to him as soon as possible. He fixed it with no complaints and triple checked that the car was good to drive before giving me the keys.

But I wanted to try something new, to see if there might a future use. But I voiced my surgery because I can't carry much and the hose was in the backyard. I needed him to get it. I walked him back and he kindly got the hose. Took it to the front and used it. Also he was nearly 30 minutes early, I think that deserves some praise. But the meat of the story, I pretty much paid for the convenience. It was comparable to my son washing the car. I went back inside my house to let him work as he seem fit. It was NO DETAIL by any means. My wheels STILL had so much dust on them. Leather seats were dry and untreated, not even armour all. I asked if they were even treated, he said "no, just wipe off". Windows had streaks. Some windows looked like they were cleaned in the middle, but not the the edges, so needless to say...dried watermarks. Crumbs in crevices. For $50 I now know to drive for the cheaper $35 better done deal. Or $120 for a REAL detail. To top it off.......the hose is still in the front yard, no offer to even put it back. Side gate was open, so my puppy got out. But some how, I will take that hit and claim that as my fault. Some might say I should of had him fix these things......but it's called CAR "DETAIL". And they claim to be able to do it anywhere at anytime. So if I'm at work and they detail it while I'm at work and I cant get away to look at it.....I HAVE TO HAVE CONFIDENCE THAT THEY WILL PAY ATTENTION TO DETAIL.

When I picked up my vehicle, there were several issues. There was a scratch on one of the rear panels, I found a bag of McDonalds in the back and my floor mats were dirty. When I inquired about the technician that was working on my vehicle, I found out that the gentleman was neither certified or experienced with Mercedes-Benz. I will never come back, then to top it all I was charged $153 more than what I was quoted!

To Gerry D...there's no way a mechanic can tell if a water pump will fail...I've had cars over 100k miles without any water pump failure. Then I had one that leaked at 60K. To Joon Y...Al does not make his money on body work so you pay for his time...$60/hr is very very cheap...He's a one man operation and he schedules you... good you went to a bodyshop. Funny how people blame mechanics for failures that are really designed to a certain life cycle. I befriended a BMW mechanic manager; and talk about being ripped off by independent BMW mechanics. Wish I knew him before I got my cars routinely maintained. These honest sounding guys changed parts that do not breakdown. BMW doesn't even stock these parts....geeze!

Yes, there are several mobile repair operations around the bay area, but how good are they? It seems like you never know who's going to show up to fix your windshield. So I found Bob Santini here. Had never heard of him and really wasn't sure if he was for real. But the reviews convinced me to give him a call. Bob returned my message quickly and asked about my insurance coverage. I'd assumed that it wasn't worth it to report it to my insurance company, but he said that many people have policies with small deductibles for windshields, vandalism, etc. It turned out he was right! I called my insurance company and not only was my deductible $100 instead of $250, but Bob Santini was on their list of preferred repair people! Less than 24 hours later, Bob came to my place of employment (exactly when he said he would) and replaced my windshield. I learned that he has 30 years of experience and does mostly commercial work. He doesn't need a lot of new business, but despite that, he was always prompt and professional. And, oh yeah, he saved me hundreds of dollars. I gave him a check for $100 and he was on his way. Bob Santini represents everything that is great about Yelp. Highly recommended.

He said he could fix it, but not while it was damp; to let it dry in the sun, then put tape over it to keep it dry until he could do the work. My friend did this right away, but I still put it off. Yesterday, I finally called Bob and we made a date for today. He was right on time, did the job beautifully, helped me with the insurance paperwork. He is a AAA authorized shop and they were glad to guarantee his work.

After looking at suggestions on attaching the stickers to the car it hit me maybe because once you start you can adjust how they are attached. No wonder there are cars with stickers every which way or maybe the driver just doesn't care since they are inside the car and they don't have to look at how they were placed. Anyway, when I found out that Andrew could wrap the stickers, so when they are removed the paint will not come off, and align them on my car I was so happy. He did a perfect job! I am so glad he is dependable which makes working with him so much easier, since my life stays busy.

Drew applied Opti-Coat Pro Plus ceramic coating, restored the faded plastic molding, coated our glass and wheel faces, and restored and applied protective film on our headlights. Our 17 yo car now looks brand new!!! My husband thought it was crazy and insane to spend so much money on an old car, but he now agrees it was totally worth it, lol! Drew does crazy good work. Also he's a super nice guy who is totally committed to providing excellent customer service. It's rare to find such great quality work at such a fair price. :) The only thing is that he's such a perfectionist his timeline may be a bit optimistic, but don't let that put you off.
