After a week calling and trying to make an appointment for a simple and quick hair cut, I decided to walk in trusting what was on the sign. I was not welcome and was told that everybody was booked for the day and I should come back another day to see if other stylists would be available. So, stop by everyday to see if you have any luck! This should not be the way a business operates, and they are misguiding.

If you schedule an appointment with him, make sure you have nowhere you need to be afterward, and bring a book to read. More than once, a simple office visit has kept me at his place of business for 2 hours. I am submitting this review from his waiting room. My appointment time is 10:50. It is now 11:23 and there are still 4 people in the waiting room who have been here longer than I. More than once, I have seen patients leave in anger or because they had other places they had to be. Dr. Burkey is a nice man and is prompt to address questions after hours, but his office protocol is highly lacking. There are now 9 people in the waiting room. There were "only" 6 when I arrived.
