To start this review off on a good note, my cabinets look great, Thank You!…read moreUnfortunately, my experience with the owner was absolutely horrible. I am a 15 year homeowner and I have worked with a wide range of professionals & your neighborhood handyman's during my time as homeowner. A reputable acquaintance referred me. I initially thought that this was her family's company. Moses (who I now know is the owner) showed up & quickly quoted me $1000.00 for the project. Moses said that if I buy the paint myself, it would cost around $300.00 but if he were to buy the paint, it would cost around $200.00. SN: I buy paint from Home Depot all the time & I recently spent around $40.00 for a gallon of paint. But maybe Sherwin williams paint cost more and has some special ingredients. With paint included, My final quote was $1200.00. A few days later, a hispanic guy shows up (no disrespect to the hispanic community) I have hispanic associates who work on my house all the time, but they charge me a fraction of the cost because they are not working under a company. So this was No big deal to me, this is to illustrate the kind of operation Moses is running. A few days later...things took a turn for the worse. Moses relayed thru the acquaintance / his employee, that "hinges" was not apart of cabinets and because my hinges were outdated (the house was built in the year 2000) he would have to paint over them. This "special paint & service" was to cost me an additional $250.00. With my finances already tight, I absolutely did not have another $250.00 to spare. I worked overtime to be able to afford the $1200 I was quoted. Confused...I requested that Moses call me so that I can understand what is going on. He immediately gets defensive. Moses tells me that I am acting like a "child" because I couldn't afford another $250.00. And if I couldn't afford to pay $250, then I should at least pay another $50 or $25. When I asked him, why wasn't this (hinges and paint for the hinges) included in the original quote, he said: "IT'S BECAUSE YOU DIDNT ASK!" My exact words to him were: "you are the PROFESSIONAL! THIS IS YOUR PROFESSION!" When professionals come to your home to quote you for a job, they tell you what is covered or what is not covered, how much the services would cost and most time give you a warranty period. Unfortunately, I DO NOT work in the cabinet resurfacing business and I had NO IDEA that hinges are not considered to be apart of the cabinets. Moses suggests that I look on google and search "are hinges included in cabinet resurfacing." (When I later calmed down, I took his advice and based on my research, the majority of professional business that I found noted that "hardware" is an included service for cabinet resurfacing. *Assuming that hardware is the term used for hinges) During our phone call, Moses proceeds to insult my cabinets (they were in bad shape but that's why I was paying for this service) accused me of acting like a child, and threatened to take me to court. This was the only thing he said that I agreed with. Because I KNOW that what he did (or trying to do) was unethical and definitely not professional, and my estimate did NOT reflect that hardware/hinges was NOT included. Towards the end of the conversation, Moses begins to backpedal and said "this is all one big misunderstanding" I terminated the call because I am in tears and upset. I will NEVER use this company again. Me being a woman and knowing NOTHING about household repairs, I told Moses he could have easily quoted me $1450 for the total project and I WOULD HAVE PAID IT. But because he tried to hustle $250.00 out of me, I am done. If you are reading this, do not let my experience keep you away. My cabinets do look great. Hopefully he will treat his customers going forward with more respect and professionalism. Quote the right price upfront And be open about what is covered and not covered so that these "misunderstandings" doesn't end up in court.

Moses and his team of painters did great work on our house and made absolutely sure we were happy…read morewith the final results. They completed our project in record time, which was a delightful surprise. We would use Paint Pros again for future projects.

Based on service requested, quality and value, we had an open mind since we have never used Yelp…read morefor services. Ever Medina Painting and Remodeling business did not meet our expectations. On the first day (09/22/2025), a team of at least (5) men arrived including Ever Medina that demolished our entire 8 X 7 square foot bathroom. Based on the quote and service dates, we requested the job to pay for labor only and we covered the cost of materials. On the first day, we paid Ever Medina 50% of the cost for labor for the job to start on (9/22/25) and to end with 5 days on (9/26/25). At this present time, we do not permanent live in SC and returned and plan to stay during the remodeling job. On the second, third and fourth day, only one (1) man was present to only install the tile around the shower and bathtub as well as the floor. On the third day, I asked if they were going to finish by Friday and was told that they would need Saturday. During this time, my husband and I were become somewhat disappointed because our expectations were being ignored. On each scheduled day of work, the men did not arrive on time and Ever was not very responsive when we would call and text him. Due to not becoming very confident in the workmanship, my husband would monitor them on a regular basis to ensure quality workmanship. Unfortunately, the remodeling and painting was not completed on Saturday therefore no work on Sunday because the sheetrock mud had to dry. So this was understandable but lead to Monday to complete the job. We were told that the work will begin at 7 am. Only one man arrived at 8:30 am. He was using a handheld dryer to dry the mud on the sheet rock and around midday, he started sanding the sheetrock. Ever told us that he would arrive between 10 and 11 am but only arrive around 2 pm. Here is our question, how can these two people (Ever's wife and child arrived with him) complete the project. The walls need to be primed and painted, the vent exhaust system to be installed, wall, window and door molding to be installed, cleaning the bathroom, shower tile and floor, installing the (3) can lights and vanity light, repair one wall light switch, install the shower door, install the bathroom vanity and fixtures as well as the toilet. For the toilet and bathroom vanity, the plumbing needs to be installed. At this time, Ever asked and wanted to come back on Tuesday to complete the work. We told him that we had to leave because we had prior obligations in Florida and will return on Friday for him to complete the work. I expressed that he had five days to complete the job, and we had extended the time that was beyond our expectations (3 days). Based on the quote and contract, we would pay him the remaining balance upon completion and satisfaction of the quality of work. At this time he became upset and requested that we pay him $2000 on this day (Monday) and pay the balance on the completion date on Friday (10/3/2025). We did not agree to this because that was not the agreement in the quote and contract. Ever made the decision to threaten us by using profane language and called the police. We could not understand why because we have been working through his delays and poor communication on the timeframe to complete the job. The policemen came and spoke with him and not us. After a few minutes, the policemen left and did not speak with us. Ever, his wife and employee left our home. Now we have to find someone else to complete the job that he did not finish. We will provide pictures and videos upon request. It has been two weeks later with a new contractor. The contractor is finishing the work and finding bad dry wall installation, electrical and plumbing problems. The worst is the water in the bathtub drains to the shower. The plumber will have to tear down the tile wall to the pipes to fix the problem as well as switch the water lines because the cold and hot water lines are incorrect based on the valves.
