This person decided a monkey is not appropriate for my child and gave him a smiley face balloon instead. Despite waiting for over an hour for these balloons he refused to change it as he decided this balloon was meant for a baby and not appropriate. Even after talking to him and explaining it's not for a baby, he refused and instead said I should get back in the line if I want the monkey, after already having waited more than an hour by now. Horrible with kids and not an entertainer whatsoever. Do not hire.

They were not very good with the props, many times they had to try a few times to make it work. At the beginning they played the music so loud and put the speaker right in front of the kids. Can't hear what they are saying. They moved the speaker later. Balloon twisting was a disaster. They exploded more balloons when they were twisting them than the balloons they handed out. Kids are just sitting there waiting for them to finish. For the tips, they asked for 10-20% when you order them. I gave to them even though I wasn't that satisfied with their performance. And the birthday loot bags, they charge $5 each. I thought they will give something special or at least magic related. Nope, bags of cheap candies, complete waste of money. Never again.

The first time I found out about PartyTO was at a Yelp elite event at HotSpot Bubble Tea in Vaughan…read morelast September. I got to experience it again at a recent event at Rouge River Brewing Co. At the HotSpot event, I got to meet Don from PartyTO. He was an incredibly talented twist-balloon maker. I saw baby Yoda (Grogu) as a balloon design and knew that I had to get it. Don did a fantastic job creating the cutest balloon version of Grogu. He even added a bracelet strap so I could wear it like a corsage. It was awesome! At the Rouge River event, I met Yannick, who did my caricature. I haven't had many done of me in my life, but his version turned out great. He featured my big skull and bangs. He even noticed that my hair had reddish-purply colours that they ended up in the caricature, too. Both Don and Yannick completed their masterpieces in perhaps five minutes. They were super fast and efficient creating their works of art. I also enjoyed chatting with them and they didn't mind engaging as they twisted balloons and caricatures, respectively. Both love their craft and work at it full-time. PartyTO seems like the perfect vendor to hire for fun corporate events. I tend to plan events for my team at work. However, if I ever have the chance to suggest getting a twist balloon or caricature activity to spice up one of our corporate events, I'd definitely suggest PartyTO. (37)
