He told us it would look better to the landlord if he already had the deposit in hand. So we wrote him a check, which he deposited into his account. He informed us a few days later that we did not get the apartment. After asking for our deposit back, he stated "the bank will mail you a check". Never answered the phone ever again to us. I contacted the bank, which told me he never even asked them to mail a check. He is a decietful coward of a person. Preying on hard working people. I recently closed on my dream home and it is 100% because of Jason's hard work. As a first time…read morehome-buyer, he made me feel like I had an expert & a professional on my side and guided me through every tiny step of the way (from learning what MLS listings are, to how to shop for homeowner insurance and pay real estate taxes). He seriously worked way harder to help me find and land my home than I EVER hoped or expected, and I couldn't recommend him more highly. From the start, Jason listened to what I was looking for and never made me feel like it was unattainable or I was looking for too much. We saw plenty of places that were beautiful but 'just not the one' - once I said that to him, it was immediately on to the next and he never pressured me to cave on any of my criteria (no matter how ridiculous or detailed it was). I really felt like that was unique about Jason in the Boston real estate world - he is sincere, and I always felt like his goals & my goals were 100% aligned (from finding every criteria I wanted, not over-paying, & taking the time I needed to search). His knowledge of the neighborhoods I was looking in (South End, Back Bay, Beacon Hill, North End) was superb & his research into what we should offer was in-depth and thoughtful. When running the comps, he really went above and beyond & included homes that took more 'creative thinking' than I think most agents would put in the effort to find. It was actually a little scary how many of the homes we looked at ended up selling for prices dead-on with the what Jason expected...

Mike is one of those realtors that takes the time to sit down with you to listen to your needs, and to educate you about the home buying process. He also spent countless weeks with us driving to different locations around Massachusetts, and touring homes with us. Mike is personable, knowledgeable, and a great sense of humor, which goes a long way when you've gone to a lot of open houses! Another awesome thing is that Mike has assembled an amazing team of home buying support experts, including mortgage lenders, lawyers, insurance agents, etc, which is a huge relief and takes a lot of stress off your shoulders. I'm absolutely sure that you should choose Mike and his team to buy your home, I can't say enough about how happy we've been since we've settled into our new home.

We learned nothing about the house after the tour. It is a seller's market but the listing agent should still do his due diligence to help the seller score the best possible offer. The listing agent was not interested in talking to any buyers, we tied to ask him questions and he would not answer anything because he is so busy(pretending) watching the traffic and saying bye and hi to people he knows. And he would not let anyone park at available spot at the open house, because he was saving the spot for his daughter. His daughter can not answer anything about the house but was standing in the kitchen blocking people from checking it out, so unprofessional. Any one trying to sell their house should avoid him because he did not do any thing to market the house to prospective buyers. The photos of the house are bad, no listing sheet at the open house, only materials at the open house were his mortgage partner's information. Horrible! Don't know his name because he didn't say, attached picture is him.

When things did get silly, Jason kept his cool and helped me figure things out. The last thing I'll say about Jason is that a few days after I moved in Jason called to check up on me and see if everything was ok. He got his payday from the sale, but didn't just move on--he took the time and thought to make sure I didn't need any more help from him AND he made certain that I knew if something did come up, I could contact him.
