Funny though, he told me that most places didn't give him much of the time of day when he said he was looking for something for his wife and him but Live did talk to him more and said to bring me back and they would go over everything with him but they were sure I'd like the options. The plaza had multiple options for spas. I am guessing they didn't think he was serious when he was getting information beforehand as they all seemed to be trying to get his attention when he came back with me. LOL. I believe the owner was the one who went over all the different options we had for the couples massage and how long and off we went. We get massages often so we know to waste no time getting undressed and ready to start for getting the most time available. I knew exactly what Ben was thinking as soon as we started... the spas in America never apply this much pressure and it was what we both always want. We have not been able to find a place that will do a couple massage that is not "sensual" which just means that they never really work out any spots on either of our bodies. Our masseuses both applied the perfect amount of pressure and we felt amazing after they were done. We laid there for a few minutes afterwards just enjoying the relaxed feeling. If we are ever in the area again, we would absolutely return.

Another downfall was that there was nothing around - the closest fun place was Flora Farms, bit if you don't have a car you'll have to take a taxi, Uber, or hotel shuttle (which is not complimentary) and Cabo san Lucas is 45mins away. Kind of a hassle - vacations should be fun & easy. Staff were inconsistent - some good... some not so much. This is my 3rd Ritz Reserve hotel experience and this one did not measure up to the one in Thailand or Bali - those two were absolutely superb and unforgettable experiences. Would I go back? I injured my shoulder that day before on the beach and was in some pain/discomfort. Sunny gave me the best massage I've ever heard. She literally find all the right spots, all the fascia and removed it all! As soon as I got off her table I felt the effects of her work. Wow! I really wish I could get a massage from her once a week. She knows how to work and manipulate your pain away. Rosa's has made several improvements to their facilities in the last months and has even added another building location a block away from the main Spa to increase the number of massage rooms. Every massage room now has a privacy door. Last September, that was not the case, as only one room had a door. Most other massage establishments in San Jose del Cabo have curtains at the massage room entrance instead of doors. This latest week in San Jose del Cabo I had multiple massages by Jasmine and my daughter had multiple massages by Sheila and also one by Jasmine. Both of us agree that Jasmine and Sheila are the two of the best massage therapists that we have ever experienced. I also had a 90 minute Four Hands massage by Jasmine and Elaina which was fantastic. My daughter had a facial at Rosa's Spa which she said was great. All of this at a fraction of the cost for the same services at our resort located close to Rosa's.
