I volunteered at a horse rescue for a couple of years and became familiar with being around horses. However, I was never taught how to tack a horse or to ride. Jerry teaches Western with neck rein training. He told me that by the end of camp I would know how to tack / untack a horse and that I would be able to ride and control a horse. He was right!!! I learned everything he taught me and more! I am so grateful for my experience at JB Ranch. His horses are very well taken care of, very well. He and his team are responsible, informative, and provide appropriate training for all levels of riders. One of the main focuses is about being safe around the horses and when riding.
