She listened to my concerns and understood that I was unhappy and after examining my dress she realized many short cuts were done! She undid the previous person's mistakes and completely fixed my dress in such a short amount of time!! She literally altered my whole dress from the waist to the hem. She also fixed the top of the dress which was still too big and made other adjustments to the lace to make it fit properly. I wish I had take more pictures of the before. But on the picture below, the dress on the left shows some of the work she did while the dress on the right side shows the short cuts taken. Each time I went in to try on my dress I was amazed by her progress and how fast & efficiently she worked. This helped eased my mind as I was stressed with other wedding matters. In the end my dress was perfect!!! I am forever grateful for her expertise in alterations, I highly recommend Young!

    My family and I have shopped with Young FOREVER, and we love her. I will say she doesn't sugarcoat…read morethings for you. If you're a size 12 and she only has a size 10, she'll tell you that you need to lose 10 lbs (these days I could stand to lose 100lbs and I'm a size 18, so things are different but that's neither here nor there haha). Please keep in mind she grew up in a different time and culture than our younger generation/we did. Her honesty is meant more out of trying to help you and be transparent...she doesn't want you to buy a dress (no matter how much money she'll make) if it doesn't look good on you! She is extremely busy because she does pretty much everything by herself. From buying the dresses to have on hand, ordering sizes customers need that she doesn't have on hand, all the way to the alterations of these dresses. She prides herself on helping every customer and giving them the time and attention they deserve, so if she tells you she doesn't have time but you still want to shop, it's not because she's trying to run you off but because she wants to give you the attention you deserve when you're making a big purchase. She really is busy and because she took the time to help you for however long she will now be working later in the evening. Granted, this is one of the sacrifices you must make when owning a business and doing all the work yourself. I just don't want anyone to ever not come here and give her a chance because you've read reviews about her being rude. She is honest and truly cares about her work and customers. I highly, highly recommend anyone and everyone looking for a formal gown to shop here and meet Young.

We took it back to have it fixed and it is still not right. IF you buy a dress there take it somewhere else to be altered. Not to mention the lady who did the pinning was VERY Rude.

    My initial appointment on 11/29 was disappointing. The lady assisting me did not speak English only…read moreSpanish. I told her wanted to adjust the straps, add bra cups and a bustle. The bustle alone cost $113 because of the hype that she did. I didn't understand when she was asking or trying to tell us about different types because of language barrier. They said it wasn't going to be ready until the end of December so I just said ok fine and paid off my alterations which came out to $186. On 12/29 I went to pick up my dress and I tried it on. The bust area didn't feel right it was loose and unsupportive. The straps still felt a little loose, the cups were not sewn in correctly and they are very thin and unsupportive similar to the inserts the put in a bathing suit top. I also felt like the area around my waist where the cummerbund part is was too loose and contributing to the issues. The girl helping told me there was nothing that they could change to help with my concerns. I have a picture when I tried on the dress and a 2nd picture where I am holding the extra fabric in the back and you can clearly tell that the dress is not fitted correctly. After telling me there was nothing they could do she walked out and I changed and signed and took my dress to get leave. I got in my car and was in tears. My wedding is 3 weeks away and I am extremely unhappy with my dress and the customer service received. My dress was also not pressed/steamed it is just as wrinkled as when I picked up when it was delivered to the store. I also asked at my initial bridal appointment to see every satin dress available. I was not shown any because they weren't my size and felt pressured into choosing a dress I ended up exchanging. When I went with a bridesmaid to look for her dress I was walking around the store and stumbled upon the dress I currently have. Absolutely loved it when I tried it on, simple, satin, classic beautiful exactly what I wanted. Since I had my previous dress for over 60 days I was told I couldn't do an exchange. The sales girl came out and said her manager would have to speak to the area manager and it would take 3 days to get an email response. The manager was supposed to come talk to us and never came out just had the employee say they would contact us when they got a reply. The area manager did approve an exchange I was beyond excited when I got to the store and thanked the manager profusely and told her how much I appreciated this. No response from her and she was extremely rude about the whole process. Holding back tears while I waited for the exchange process. I have been there for myself, my mother, my daughter and a couple bridesmaids. Only one time was there a nice sales girl. Every other visit was awful everyone is extremely rude and unwelcoming. There aren't many options here locally so unfortunately we had to go here. I would not recommend them to anyone for any reason ever. The only bad/stressful part of my entire wedding planning experience was with David's Bridal. I am now having to go somewhere else to get all of the alterations I paid for there redone. The customer service text told me to contact the store manager which I will not do. I do not wish to be made to feel upset and uncomfortable because of their lack of customer service.
