From the non pushy, fake sales, or using a calculator to get you the final price is completely out the door. You get professional service with no marked up prices. What you see is what you get with experienced and super friendly staff. My wife is extremely happy with the set on, and other gifts that were purchased here as well through the years. One suggestion when you plan on proposing or getting something small don't forget about the protection plan. Getting a ring resized, refinished, polished once it shows signs of fading everything is covered. They say diamonds are forever so the ring should be clean and looking like new so it's very well worth it. Jared has a diamond guarantee when you keep up with the 6 month check ups. It's the perfect store for any occasion. For those who care or just want to learn more here is the background history.... My relationship with this business started over 10 years ago in North Carolina, and as I think about it now, it helped me prep financially for the long run. So by browsing the store I found a sort of vintage looking set that came with a band as well. At the moment I was nowhere near proposing nor marriage but absolutely felt that this would be the perfect set for a future wife. I decided to purchase the bands with no stone and called it a day. This is such a low class location and company. My husband bought me a pair of black earrings for Valentine's Day via mail that I didn't like. Even though in big letters they advertise free returns, in the small print it says they don't refund the $10 delivery fee. My husband goes to the store and they won't give it back and point him to call customer service to get it back. The woman also awkwardly hit on him and told him he had nice eyes when he was returning a gift he said was for his wife. On top of that, when we spent a half an hour on hold with customer service, we were told they never return the delivery fee when my husband was told to call in the store. Such a low class company. If I could rate this 0 stars, I would. Please read this fully and save yourself from ever spending a dime of your money at this store. My fiancée and I are a young couple and we went into the store looking for her wedding band. We were hopeful for a great experience for a very exciting moment in our lives and it was anything but. We went and looked at rings several months ago and actually had a great experience. However, we went back in to buy a ring that we saw was on sale about a week ago. We missed the sale but they actually honored it for us. However, as we were paying, the experience completely shifted. The saleswoman, Andrea, tried pushing this $300 warranty plan on us that only protected the band of the ring. The stones have a lifetime warranty but you have to come in EVERY 6 MONTHS ON THE DOT. If you don't, the warranty is done. We decided to not buy the $300 warranty. The ring my fiancée tried on was a 7 and she needed it sized to fit and apparently they only carry size 7 in the store in any ring. After spending $1500+ on this ring, they tried nickel and diming us for an extra $69 because that's "their fee to size it" if you don't buy the $300 warranty. The idea that any woman not a size 7 now owes another $69 to have a ring that actually fits them is outrageous. When pushing back, the saleswoman stated that "we clearly weren't listening to her earlier". Eventually, they agreed to waive the sizing fee this one time, as long as we acknowledge that if we ever come back for service to the ring, it'll be $69. Lastly, the woman explained that even on the website, if you are not a size 7, you pay an additional $69 to have it resized (which we did in front of her in the store to confirm that is not the case). The bad service doesn't end there. When we went back to pick up the ring a few days later, after having it cleaned and sized, another saleswoman Alia, while continuously checking her Uber Eats order throughout our conversation, was going to give us the ring in the small service plastic bag. We had to ask for a box several times. When she said yes, she noticeably dropped the ring box into the bag and then dropped the bag onto the glass in front of us, never cracking a smile, never even making eye contact. We walked out and vowed to never go into the store again. Long story short, the salespeople here turned what should have been a great, once in a lifetime experience of buying a wedding ring into a horrible one. While this was not a visit to purchase a piece of jewelry, I feel the level f service here was equal among everyone. I had a necklace that I brought in for service a while ago and it was time to pick it up. I was so impressed by the level of service here and their attention paid to keep their customer's safe. I had to wait in the hallway to be escorted in.. They confirm name, appointment and reason. As soon as you walk in there is a table with all types of personal protection. Wipes, gloves, sanitizer. They have been doing what I have been preaching all along... make your customer feel safe. I had to walk six feet behind the person escorting me in and sit where I was told to go. They are really monitoring social distancing and safety here. My visit was short. They gave me the piece I came in for and packaged it beautifully. Everyone here is extremely friendly and helpful. Customers were well separated and this is a really big store. I recommend places like this to do business. They are, and have always been very customer focused and caring. Over the last 5 years I've spent 20K in this store, when my 3 year old wedding band breaks, and we're talking tungsten, all of a sudden a portion of my purchase history was accidentally erased I was told. But the 20K spenditure history is there and visible, Jared offered me no relief, tried to entice me to pay for a new wedding band, pay for the inscription and PAY for the warrantee like both my wife and I already did when we purchased the original bands... but that portion of our spending history is magically missing... luckily we do very well, this is not a money issue for us, it's principal and personal respect. Especially after spending what I have in this establishment over the last 5 years... New ring being specially made and Inscribed by Zales for half the price, they were apphauled by my story, and felt so bad, that they gave me the lifetime warrantee for free. . Again, this is not a money issue for us, we do very well... I'm sharing my story today to hopefully help someone down the road who may not be as well off as my family financially and couldn't afford another wedding band, or engagement ring if this were to happen to them. I have a custom pendant from Jared which has my kids' birthstones. The only reason I got it at this Jared is my husband took me to this Jared for my birthday to get me a piece of jewelry and this is the piece I chose. The only reason my husband took me to Jared at all is they have a lifetime repair warranty, which he paid for. In a year, the chain it is on has snapped twice. I blame a combination of two toddlers and then me being clumsier than most. But really, *why* it broke isn't the important part of this review. Extra money was paid to Jared for Jared's jewelry repair insurance but Jared staff have told me both times the repair was *not* covered. Um, yes, it is. Check again. Somehow after I tell them to check again, as this *paid service* was *paid for*.... voila! "Oh, yes, we see it right here". So, if you paid for a service, they might try to tell you that you didn't. Do not let them feed you this bullshit. Stand up for yourself if you know better. Also, they will have you wait in a small area with a couch and other customers where there is literally no way for any two people to maintain social distance. Hey, I'm cool with that, I got the shot so whatever. But the room has a coffeemaker and water bottles and there is no coffee available and the water is still in a sealed case. Nobody offers any refreshments... maybe because of Covid? But then why the tiny, packed sofa room if Covid is a concern at Jared? Either have social distancing and no coffee, or just let it be a free for all of germs, and if you pack people in there, let them have a coffee or some water. Oh, and a snapped link on a chain takes a minimum of four days to repair. Why? Any jeweler should be able to fix that in under an hour. This leads me to think they don't actually have a jeweler at Jared, a jewelery store. I love my pendant, it is beautiful and sentimental, but I wonder if other jewelery stores would offer better experiences for customers. She was able to provide me with the upmost respect, full information on my ring, and helping with multiple options on purchase/shipment due to the COVID-19 conditions. Maria went out of her way to make sure every condition was met and to make sure I understood everything before purchase. Making the process even easier once completed. This was my first time in a Jared. I came with one of my friends. We decided to check out in engagement rings bc within the next year we anticipate getting engaged. We decided to look without our men so we know what we like. We were greated by the sales associate Cheryl, she was very approachable when we entered, told her it was our first time here. She also gave us a brief 101 on Jared. That this is their 200th location, they have been around for 100 years. The store has an in house repairs, custom designing and so on.... The store was very well lit and everything was sparkly! Girls are always drawn to sparkly things its our nature. As we proceeded the engagement rings were located near the back of the store. We started to gander closer and started thinking wow a lot of tough decisions. We knew there was a few rings we were interested in trying on and learning about. We were very easy to find Cheryl and have her answer questions. She came over and asked us what were we interested in. I was always interested in one day having a platinum ring and i heard they tend to weigh more. So she showed me where those are and asked what i would like to try on, so i did! While trying different rings on she really explained the 4 C's and even had a paper that had diagrams on it. Jared had a very extensive collection to choose from. I learned a little more what i like/didnt like. I even took photos of some on my hand to see how things look. Before we left she gave us her card and her sale associate Michael's card on the back i wrote down certain information down as to my ring size and certain info i liked about ring styles so when im ready to come back i can remember. I wish to complain about the rude and unprofessional conduct of one of your employees, toward my wife, today and every time she and I go to your Westbury store. The employee in question is blond-haired, female and based on the date and time of the ticket below, I'm sure you can easily determine who she is. When my wife arrived today, on time for her appointment, this individual stated "you'll have to wait", then, in an apparent haste to welcome another couple into the store, almost hit my wife with the swinging counter door, immediately directed them to a salesperson, despite my wife being in line before them. When my wife reminded your employee that my wife had been there before this couple, your employee's response was "I'm sorry, I completely forgot about you." First, that is a unacceptable and false excuse: how could your employee forget about my wife when she both spoke rudely to my wife as well as almost injuring her? Second, this is not the first one this has occurred with this employee at this store. I've lodged prior complaints about this employee's unprofessional and discourteous behavior--both toward my wife and myself, to no avail. Third, Is your company's policy to reserve good customer service only for potential jewelry sales customers, and to be rude and unprofessional to people like my wife, who comes for her scheduled ring maintenance and cleaning? Assuming the answer is or at least should be a resounding no, your employee needs to be disciplined and re-educated concerning customer service. Been here a handful of times and have gotten the best customer experience every time. Recently I came here with my fiancé to get my engagement ring inspected and cleaned. We met with Robert who greeted us with a big smile. After his inspection of the ring, we inquired with him to see if they were going to have any sales since we were looking for wedding bands for our wedding next year. He gave us a tip that their semi-annual sale was the best sale of the year for 15% off the entire store. He recommended to place the wedding band I wanted on hold, so then he can give me the price adjustment the next week during the sale. We came back the following week and Robert and Greg had helped us with the transaction to get us the better deal and to help choose my fiancé's ring. Robert was able to get my fiancé the best deal on his wedding band as well with both of us putting more savings to our wedding budget. I'm so happy I found this place! I'm been telling my husband for the past two years that that flimsy plastic ring guard on his wedding band is not going to hold up. I told him numerous times to go and have the ring resized before you loose it.Did he listen to me? Of course not! he's mister laid back. A couple of weeks ago he was supermarket shopping and came home without it, he lost the damn ring, of course I was furious the bands were given to us by my Mom and family in europe it had sentimental meaning to us. We happen to be in, Long Island and we found Jared, so I took him in to check out the place. We met Sal who has to be the most nicest and sweetest down to earth guy. He told us my husband is the third person that day that lost a band. We wanted the ring duplicated, so Sal took my band look at it and made notes to try do his best to make it look exactly the same. NEVER WASTE YOUR MONEY AT THIS STORE! I purchased my wife's engagement ring, diamond wedding band and gold wedding band from this store, as well as my Triton tungsten steel wedding band. Last week, my wedding band suddenly and inexplicably fell apart. We came to the store, met with Kevin who was very understanding and nice and initially planned to upgrade to a different and more expensive ring. However, after thinking about it, I changed my mind, called Kevin back and requested a full refund instead, which he readily agreed to. Today, since my wife had to anyway have her ring cleaned, I cake with her and brought the broken ring back to address the refund. The manager, a blond-haired woman whose name I didn't catch, initially refused to honor my refund request and then grudgingly Customer Care and then also grudgingly informed me that as a "one time courtesy", I would get my refund. The issue apparently was that even with my extended warranty, and even though we've been married only two months, because we bought my ring in August 2018, it was somehow out of warranty! She was so nasty, rude unpleasant and exhibited such poor customer service (slapped my refund receipt in my hand, had me sign the receipt as the credit card holder even though it was my wife's card and my wife was standing right next to me), that we will NEVER again purchase anything from this store. read more

I had a wonderful experience today with a gentlemen by the name of Chris at the Jared in Carle Place. I called and he was so helpful unlike any of the other Jared employees I had spoke with in the last few days at Jared.com. I had ordered an item online but realized I made an error 4 hours later. I was able to text my situation as they were closed at this time. I received a response to my text at 9 am the next day I explained my situation but they pretty much said there wasn't any thing they could do because it was a custom piece I only had 60 minutes to change my order. The date of delivery was January 17...I told the representative that I was sure they didn't make the piece but she said it was too late but she would send a message. I called the Carle Place Jared and explained the situation to Chris who thoroughly understood and said we are going to fix this. He made a few calls and spoke to people at his company he called me back and gave me the number of customer care and said if they couldn't help me to call him back. Well they were wonderful at Customer Care and helped solve the issue one way or another. I called Chris back to thank him and he was thrilled that it had all worked out. To begin, I took an old ring in with my girlfriend on a Saturday to see about its value, but the salesman looked at it and said that there were issues with it that he was concerned about and asked us to return on Monday to have a second opinion. After attempting multiple times to get a battery replaced I now have time to review Jared Jewelry. In 2014 I bought the lifetime battery warranty for my Tissot watch. I received a receipt and special envelope to hold the receipt in. I put it in a safe place ... just in case. In July I attempted to get a new battery but was not allowed in the store and I made many phone calls to just pick up a battery. No good and they had no record of me having the lifetime warranty. I found the receipt and attempted again to get the battery. I called to set up an appointment and once again I was told that I could not come in. I'm the type that wears a watch everyday and Jared doesn't give a darn about me ever getting a working watch. Disgraceful! read more

I'm very impressed with the staff at Jared's! They have always been very helpful. I came in because of a discoloration in one of the charms on my Pandora bracelet. They tried to fix it, but since they couldn't, the manager replaced the charm. I was very grateful! They were also very patient with me when I decided to exchange a necklace and pair of earrings since I wanted a different style within the collection to match with the bracelet that I purchased with them. Was here yesterday to exchange a Pandora charm. The store was clean and nicely decorated. I was greeted upon entry and offered a refreshment which was nice. The only thing that was a bit frustrating was the employee that was assisting me. She did not seem experienced with the Pandora section. I asked her to show me a charm I found in the book, and she became quite flustered, informing that she was not sure where it was. At the Jared in my hometown, I never had this issue. If they do not carry a particular charm, thats fine; but when they tell me they are not sure where to find it, and that I should "look around", it's a bit disheartening. I did a quick check and found two other jewelers here on Long Island that sell the same watch for around $1400.00. I went to Jared The Galleria of Jewelry and waited for more than thirty minutes, before being able to talk with someone. I simply asked that they match the prices offered by the other two jewelers. I was given a song and dance reply about why they could not do it and that they do not match prices. So I asked for a refund and was also given the run around. the whole process took several hours and multiple visits. Fast forward to now same stone fell out again go in and was told there's nothing they can do as i didnt have it inspected every 6 months. We were never told that when in for the first repair.
