In previous years, they held it at different parks through out Tampa. I really liked this better. That way fireworks were all in one place. These fireworks were amazing. The park is huge so it's nice and spacious for everyone. They had some food trucks, they had a stage and when we were there they had country music which I don't like, but I wasn't there too long before fireworks happened. The one bad thing was the fireworks were so close the ashes fell on top of us. But for real amazing fireworks and so happy we left St. Pete Beach early to see them.

And Now they have the Sound which is where they have concerts. I did see that they did a lot of nice work to the park but I need to see it during the day. Fireworks were great here. At first, it was slow and then it got better and the music was the best out of all the firework shows we have been to. Glad we made it and were also lucky with parking which for once in our life was free.

I usually get on it there, and then walk it all the way over to Armature Works and back. There are always a ton of people either running, walking, roller skating, or hanging out along the riverwalk. I like walking it on both sides and taking in the nature, and getting great pictures. It's probably best to come right at sunset so it isn't so blazing hot. There isn't a ton of shade. My favorite photo spot is walking up one of the bridges and then looking back at the circular Rivergate Tower and the river.

There were hundreds of people along the riverwalk watching the spectacular experience. There were boats decked out with Christmas decor, and music playing to ensure the crowd is entertained! This is my third time at these fireworks. They do not disappoint. They r not horribly crowded, and there is ample parking. The fireworks from the start to finish are excellent, amazing, & breathtaking. The music that is with the fireworks is perfect. This year there were no food trucks but they were not missed. In the past, the lines for the food trucks were forever. Instead they gave out free water and ice cream to everyone. I'm in love with these fireworks and they make the rest of July 4th even more exciting and one to look forward to. I'm thankful for those involved with this fireworks event. It's a go to every year!

Parking was $15 on-site & fair entrance was free for me with my FL medical professional license ID card since I went on a promo day for it. The best part of the Fl State Fair was the petting zoo of baby goats, donkeys, llama alpacas which was free to enter & pet at your own risk of poop & pee from the animals. Some of the alpacas were very agreeable to selfies lol so funny they knew the assignment well. 5 stars for the animals & zero stars everything else. All the food was terrible. I definitely wouldn't go back again. Even if the entrance fee or parking was free... not worth it. My friends that were born & raised in the Tampa Bay Area told me not to go that it's not worth it... should a listened to them lol. None of my Florida friends wanted to go that have lived in Tampa their whole life. I went for the experience. I didn't go on any rides, my germ radar was on too high alert lol.

It's simple, peaceful, and has that classic Florida waterfront feel that makes you want to slow down and take it all in. Walking out on the pier, you get beautiful views of the water and a nice breeze that makes it perfect any time of day. It's a great place to just relax, look out over the bay, and enjoy the scenery. Everything felt clean and well kept, and it wasn't overly crowded, which made the experience even better. The highlight for us was spotting a stingray swimming right near the pier such a cool and unexpected moment. Watching it glide through the water made the whole visit feel special, especially for my daughter. It's those little surprises that turn a good stop into a great one. We had a lot of fun. Overall, the Safety Harbor Pier is a perfect spot for a peaceful walk, some great views, and even a chance to see some wildlife up close. Definitely worth checking out if you're in the area we'll absolutely be back.

Wednesday, 5/3/23, was our third "Shakespeare in the Park" at Demen's Landing, though Shakespeare…read morehas not been performed here in many years. More than 30 years ago we tried to attend a Shakespeare performance and it was rained out. Macbeth was the first play we saw performed here, then we saw Spamalot, and this time it was Ragtime. The venue is beautiful - on the water, in a park area, and when the sun goes does, it gets cool. Bring a jacket or sweater. we forgot Wednesday, and it was uncomfortably cool. We were guests of WEDU, so we did not bring food and drink, as we had in the past. WEDU provided a delicious box lunch and a variety of beverages. The last two times we brought sandwiches, chips, and water bottles. Food and drink is allowed. There are portalets on site. Once before we brought a blanket to sit on, and those on blankets can sit in front of reserved seating. The second time we brought folding chairs, which could be placed behind or next to reserved seating. This time we had reserved seats. In the future, this is the way to go! The stage, costumes, and performers were excellent - now as in the past. My only complaint for Ragtime was the sound. Sometimes the music would overpower the singers. A couple of times feedback from microphones was distracting. The traffic after the show is always heavy. Coming to the show, it is heavy only towards showtime, for the late comers. But after the show, everyone is leaving at once. This is a concern no matter what venue you attend.

The Paseo Drive is filling with people. The kid activities include hokey stick goal shot, balloon sword, acrobat elastic jump, face painting, moon wall, air slice, pirate ship invasion and many more. For adult, you know what to do. I was introduced by a vendor for Wikid Watermelon for the custom watermelon kegs and carving. The carving is beautiful for special event. Overall the party is great. People make up this party. The Shop of Wiregrass is smart to hold this party one day before the July 4 with fireworks. It get the maximum people without compete for the actual July 4 fireworks with many locations.
