Aside from the food court they seemed to have several nice restaurants in the mall. Neither my colleague or I spoke Spanish but luckily one of the hosts spoke pretty good English and was happy to help us out. We started with the ceviche which was a giant portion and was delicious as well as the queso. If we had known the apps were so big we would've ordered just 1. By the time our steaks showed up we were getting full. The steaks were good...not amazing but definitely good. They were cooked properly and had plenty of flavor. If I ever find myself in this part of Mexico again I will def return.

We were immediately greeted and seated. The mango lemonade I ordered came in a huge margarita glass. We started off with the empanadas. So delicious, I could eat them for a meal. We opted for the shareable platters. We ordered one that fed three, and one that fed two. These came with Ribeye, fajita, picana and grilled sausage. We good amount of tortillas and a spicy sauce that added a lot of flavor to the dish. I got treated to a cake for my birthday. I will definitely be back. Highly recommended.

My family in town doesn't much care for upscale dining,…read morebut my wife and I wanted to treat them, so we researched some places and went with this one based on a cousin's recommendation. The décor is spectacular. During my time in Tampico, I didn't really see any places that really looked particularly upscale during my visit, but this was an exception. The lighting, the chairs, the ambiance was all quite nice. We were off in a side room with one other sizeable party, but neither of us needed the full space. Our group came trickling in, but they seated us as soon as we arrived and kept the bread and drinks coming over the course of the hour we waited. We ended up ordering calamari and alcohol for the table to help keep things going while we waited on some stragglers. The calamari was lightly fried and served with blooming onion dipping sauce, soy sauce, Worcestershire sauce, and hot sauce. I couldn't keep track of everything that was ordered, but my wife went with the grilled salmon and seemed to love it. I went with the negrilla tres nueces, a grilled fish covered in cashews, almonds, and pine nuts. The nuts were a bit much, but the fish was perfectly cooked. I wish they had done more with the vegetables, though. I found myself dipping the vegetables in the lemon butter sauce to add some flavor. There were a few things that I could have probably have docked this place a star for, but the servers were so accommodating with our group trickling in over the course of an hour that I figured this place deserves a five star rating. Most places wouldn't have been as cool about it.
