Upon visiting the store, we purchased a stool and after a very long wait, it arrived without the protective coating I had indicated was important to me as well as other defects. Initially they were responsive and said they wanted to make sure we were satisfied with the product. So after months of waiting and several follow ups, they sent a replacement, but the new one was not even close to the sample swatch and the surface has black marks which looked like someone had put out a cigarette on it. As soon as the delivery person opened it, I noted the significant difference in colour as well as the defects. He rang Jardan and they told him to leave the new stool for us to use while they worked out a replacement or refund. Now nearly a month later I have been told by Emma that the senior manager has now assessed this case and reiterates that there is no fault with the product we have received and the colour is as expected. We could not disagree more. It is dramatically blue and green and doesn't even look like the swatch at all. There isn't a single part of the table that resembles the swatch. Like other reviewers, we were trying to support an Australian brand, but their staff treats you as though you are some low class dirt bag when you have spent $1700 on one stool. We have requested they pick up the stool and issue a refund, but they are refusing. We are more than happy to pay top dollar for quality, but sadly that is not what we received. read more
