We already have a routine established: We go to Kitchen Elf for my baking needs, shop at Rustan's Supermarket for groceries (only when the parental units ask that we do it), buy Aboy's Fresh Lumpia to take home, and pass by McDonald's or Starbucks to get food to eat in the car. When there's a bazaar on the Evia grounds, which is quite a regular occurrence especially during the holidays, we happily explore their wares. Evia is pet-friendly, and is quite a delightful place for furry friends as it has a wide space for walking. Stores are limited at the moment, though, so this is not a place to go to for shopping. But we realized that it would be impractical because of the traffic (which might take us an hour just going to and from the mall) and the toll fees. Then Lola suggested SM Sta. Rosa instead. We didn't know there was one really nearby, so yay! PROS: It's along Laguna's major highway and easily accessible from the South Luzon Expressway (SLEX) as well; There's a lot of available parking spaces. CONS: It doesn't have a lot of establishments, like those that we're used to in Manila; It was a three-day sale when we went there! It was so crowded that we had to fall in line for about 15 minutes just to grab lunch at a Barrio Fiesta. TL;DR: It has pretty convenient location for those dwelling in Laguna, but avoid sales like the plague.

Robinsons has a wide selection of toys and other stuff for babies that it is our main source for our son's necessities and gifts. What's good is that their merchandise go on sale every month! When we want to get something for our little one, we just wait for the bargain weekend before making a purchase. It pays to wait for that season as we always get good deals on top brands. Among our best buys at the Robinsons Department Store are the Fisher Price portable booster seat, Avent toddler bowl, Mickey Mouse walker, Looney Tunes crib, and his Mickey Mouse stroller. Apart from the great buys that we have from this store, we appreciate the members of the sale staff for being helpful and accommodating in answering our queries and giving a demo of the goods that we intend to buy.
