What a joke! We put an offer on a property that was a short sale and gave our good faith payment of…read more$500 to the realtor. Knowing short sales can take a while I checked the listing on MLS 3 weeks after putting in the offer, and it said the property was under agreement. Weird, we hadn't heard if our offer was accepted or not. I had my husband check our bank account, and our CHECK WAS CASHED! What?!?! I thought they couldn't do that without a signed agreement from both parties? Our broker tried numerous times to get in touch with the realtor who ignored her repeatedly. When she finally decided to call her back she said she never received a check from us and there were 4 other offers on the property. When our broker sent her a copy of the cashed check she said it was her manager that did it and there were other offers on the property so her manager must have put it under agreement. So, our broker contacted the manager who of course had no knowledge of any of this (organized place, huh)? The next day our broker gets an email from the manager saying she was sending our check back and there was confusion as to what she was told about our situation. To her knowledge there were no other offers on the property and she was told an agreement was signed by both parties which is why she cashed the check. Our broker also received an email from the agent who screwed everything up who blamed everything on 3-4 weeks of computer problems.....are you kidding me? This place is so dishonest and unorganized. I wouldn't let them handle something as important as purchasing a home if they can't even handle an offer letter and one check. Good luck if you have to deal with this office!

Mark the owner was literally making phone calls on a boat off the coast of Martha's Vineyard! The end result is that we just moved into a beautiful house in a great location, with them being responsive thus far (very refreshing and surprisingly hard to find!)

They think this is over, but I am getting ready to sue them, on principle and to expose them. I wonder how many other people they've cheated, because if they could do it to me, I bet they have done it to others. They are all about monetizing everything from parking to security deposits. Check out their lease. They even added a line that they don't have to agree with their own agents if their agents conclude that you moved out with no damages. They should not be allowed to get away with such deceptive and unethical practices. When you move out, take photos and videos of every nook and cranny. They assumed I didn't. I am ready to fight them to the end.

I have been living here for about 9 months now and I just got my renewal for my lease . Due to the nature of my line of work , I never know from year to year where I will be . I spoke with manager , and she explained very clearly my options if for some reason I have to move early . I have lived in many places all over the country and I have been nothing but happy with my choice of living at the Revington .

The care and services provided residents in top notch. I have one personal issue that frustrates me; there is not centralized WiFi/internet for residents New Horizons offers a few community PC's which until three to five years ago would have been adequate. Today however most families and seniors are very connected. Tools such as Zoom allow social interaction even when a visit isn't possible. During the COVID pandemic during serious influenza, visits may not be an option. Use of communal area PCs would greatly increase risk of virus transmission to the general population. New Horizons negotiated a price per resident for seniors to get internet ($30 per month) per resident. This is no bargain, and generally seniors are very concerned about any extra expenditures which makes the cost a battle. I hope New Horizons will upgrade their technology to equal their other service delivery
