My first visit with Melissa Altman she listened, took my concerns seriously, and made sure that I got to ask any questions I had. She was very thorough in her review of my initial questionnaire and in her follow up questions based on my responses. My second visit was just as great and I was extremely satisfied with the lab results and the treatment plan prescribed. The rest of the office staff are so friendly and welcoming. I had to bring my toddler with me and he is all over the place and they were so understanding and tolerant of him. They accommodated my son and me and I am so grateful. Will definitely continue to see them. I highly recommend Merge Medical. Especially if you're struggling to get to the root cause of issues you're having and feel like you're not functioning at your best!

For a medical center that has signs posted on their front door claiming they are taking precautions against COVID, I was alarmed the office was not promoting mask use. I thought this misfortune would end at the door, yet when Melissa Altman RN then met me for my appointment and was also not wearing one at all, she told me I could take mine off if it made me feel comfortable which obviously it did not and she didn't put on a mask to meet my comfort level displayed. I can't proceed with a medical treatment by professionals that are not even taking the virus seriously. Otherwise I think I would've continued with Merge Medical.

It includes a healthy dose of B complex vitamins, as well as other medications as needed, to get you off the couch. I felt rehydrated and ready to take on the day. It was extremely relaxing and comforting, they have tvs so you can watch and enjoy your time and relax when receiving your IV therapy. It was great. You can literally text a number to schedule an appointment, how easy is that?? The office staff was so nice and went over all of the different options which they have a ton of different options from weight loss to immunity boost to just an IV bag. They are very professional and they hit the vein the first time with zero pain. Overall I highly recommend this place, especially if you are hungover or needing a boost, this was so much fun!

I'd never tried hydration therapy before but count me as a believer now.

I was looking for an alternative to the dismissive and unhelpful response that mainstream medicine…read moregave me towards my mystery chronic illness - turns out IWG was not it. I think I was right in their targeted demographic. They post a lot of interesting videos on YouTube. They talked about EMFs. They talked about Lyme's. They talked about heavy metals. They challenged the narrative on masking and hand sanitizers and lockdowns. I agreed with a lot of what they were putting out on social media, and that's how they pulled me in. I wonder if they even present that stuff in good faith, or whether they just see a niche in the market that they can fill? There's a grain of truth in every lie. I feel the $3000ish I spent on the them was mostly a complete loss. I got Dr. Carruthers. I felt he was condescending and not receptive to my input. The money went towards basically collecting my data, aka patient history (...I feel like they should have paid me for that, not the other way around), and then coming up with a personalized selection of expensive testing and supplements that were hundreds of dollars. I started to feel like I was dealing with scammers who were just charging me for their expensive advertising. (They make commission on the supplements too, through the Fullscript program). They make dietary recommendations that are commonplace for your typical health blog but in my opinion foolish. They lack valid credentials, in my opinion. They wanted payment up front (onboarding as they called it) for several telephone sessions and did not refund me for the sessions I didn't take, as about midway through I lost all confidence that they were right for me. At first I wasn't even that angry about it, but "Doctor Nick" and I had a major disagreement that I was quite shocked about given how it seemed to contradict with material they shared on social media. When my refund was refused with rather flimsy explanations, I checked yelp reviews and Glassdoor reviews of former employees and was quite shocked. Altogether the experience made me cry. Somehow I felt like they gaslighted me into thinking I was the problem and they felt quite okay with giving me hope and taking my money for doing virtually nothing. Tiny note: they use a proprietary technology to do some of their "testing" using a follicle of your hair. They don't describe the technology or give any explanation how this works. I don't think it's true DNA testing or even related to DNA. It seems almost like they are doing a tarot card reading to tell you what toxins/infections you have in your body and/or what foods trigger you. My experience was years back. Was never going to write a review until I thought of them just recently, and saw some of the newer reviews showing that they are still at it. I sincerely hope they fail as a business. Maybe they are good people (how am I to judge?) but they do NOT run a fair business, and that's what's important when deciding where to place your money. As desperately sick as I was/am, it would have been better to do NOTHING than to consult with IWG. That's the takeaway.

They will reach into your wallet as far as you're willing to let them. Do not be fooled -- this is…read morescientific establishment at first glance, but is remarkably pseudo-scientific the more you work with them. Take this from someone who bought their program hook, line, and sinker and spent over $10,000 in the course of 6 months. They do a bunch of blood/DNA testing initially, make a lot of diagnostic findings, and then develop a plan to help you. The deception lies in the fact that their hard data is mostly legitimate, but their treatment protocols are rooted in ineffective supplement plans and "spiritual" or "energetic" work that is absolutely on the level of nightmare scams. It's worth mentioning that the staff is extremely friendly and charming -- and it's rather amazing that such people could actively work for such a sad, unhelpful, greedy company. Ultimately, instead of helping people with unexplained or mystery illnesses, they really just smile and mug you for all your money.

I have been a patient of Dr. Herbert for many years, and I recall her saying that she would consider my treatments to be like "restoring an antique ", and I have come to believe she has been doing just that! I have come to expect dizziness and lethargy to be a given, for me, to address each day, for the Parkinson's, as well as for blood pressure and to help my pacemaker work the best. For the past few weeks, I have been working diligently, building a hen house and clearing underbrush as well as putting in this year's garden, to have plenty of fresh vegetables to share. Also, for the past few weeks, I have found myself working at a much slower pace, and falling asleep frequently, each day, almost uncontrollably. Dr. Herbert said it was time for another Ozone Treatment, so I had another appointment on Saturday for a "10-Pass Treatment" on the marvelous German machine at the clinic--unlike anyone else in the Lowcountry has--which is capable of compressing TEN office visits (with all of the.associated expenses--not to mention the time saved!) into ONE visit! I started my workday at 7:25 this morning...I stayed steadily busy doing fairly hard work all day, without any involuntary compulsive dozing... My clock says it is almost 3:00 a. m. now...my energy level tells me that I could stay up even longer, but common sense tells me I need to get a little sleep...i am looking forward to anther good day at work today, and my waterbed is calling me! THE BOTTOM LINE IS , FOLKS...OZONE THERAPY WORKS!

If you suffer from chronic illness or issues, I cannot recommend her highly enough.
