Very disappointing. The fried rice is bland and dry. The chicken & snow peas does not have a brown sauce like most other restaurants have, but it does have a slimy gelatin type substance on it. Pretty nasty to look at and even worse to eat. The egg roll was burned so bad it was impossible to eat. One of the worst Chinese restaurants we've ever been to. Will never return. read more

Just happened upon this place and I'm happy I did! The food was prepared in about 30 minutes. Seems everything is cooked from scratch, because I was told the ribs would hold up the order. I could see the lady cooking my cashew chicken and fried rice on an open fryer. Everything was super delicious! I also enquired about delivery and was told it was a $6 charge and a limited delivery area, and I was happy to hear that I was within range! I'll definitely order delivery from now on! read more

I do NOT recommend this restaurant! We ordered some dinners that included chicken General Tso Chicken and bourbon chicken, and both dishes chicken was EXTREMELY soggy. The bourbon chicken didn't smell the freshest. Even the rice in the chicken fried rice was mushy. Not a good experience in my book, I'm not hard to please either. Beware with the food... We are from out of town, we are visiting family and this restaurant was highly recommended. The waitress was friendly and attentive (cannot complain on that) We ordered chicken lo mein and chicken fried rice. The serving portions are extremely big, we asked for a to go container. After it was all set we started eating and enjoying the food. Unfortunately, when I was cutting a big price of the chicken I noticed that it WAS NOT FULLY COOKED!! We called the waitress and showed it to her. She quickly apologized and asked if I wanted it to be cooked more . I said no, then she proceeded to ask if I wanted the to go plate to be cooked more... I again said no, that I will cook it more at home (cannot trust them with the food anymore). What is really upsetting is that the waitress took the plate to the back, and started talking her language with the cooks for some reason they were all laughing!! (Salmonella is no joke). My husband proceeded to pay at the counter and the cooks and waitress started talking their language and continued to laugh! It's Unfortunate that they don't understand the consequences and severity of the situation. If anyone gets sick of salmonella it can be fatal. We will NOT BE RETURNING EVER, even after we make our final move down here. Please, be very cautious when ordering at this restaurant! read more

Boneless Chicken was over bartered, boneless spare ribs were just weird shaped not thin sliced like most restaurants these were lil medallions and fatty, Everything had a lot of sodium in it. If I'm in Lehigh I am drawn to Jan-Bo like the bee to honey. LOVE to stop for lunch, great big table for a working lunch on the laptop or a meeting and they treat you like family. It has turned out to be the best tasting food, hands down. We had the egg fried rice, which was wonderful, lo-mein, that can't be beat, lastly, egg foo yung, which was the best my husband and I ever had! The prices are fair for the majority of items. The portions are fair, as well. Then why didn't I give it 5 stars? I didn't give it 5 stars is because the general appearance is dirty and unkempt, like it's not been cleaned in years. A reviewer from 2013 said it was clean. I think that might have been the last time it was considered clean. The dining room was run down and dark, certainly not an inviting dining room.
