Fantastic place to visit to learn about the process of making Iberico Jamones and to try its taste! Be aware, to visit, you'll have to pre-book online, as they do not take walk-ins. Diana was our host, and she's done a wonderful job of explaining the process starting from raising the pigs, all the way to selling the finished Jamones. The tour is divided into 3 parts: Field walk at the meadows to see the pigs in their natural habitat, factory tour on how they make the Jamones, and finally the tasting of the Jamones. It is a fascinating and long process. Both Jamones and wines are available for purchase at the end of the tour. Be aware that this place is located very remotely. Google map is most definitely need it in order to find it. Streets are very narrow there, so avoid large vehicles if possible. read more

This turned out to be one of the highlights of our trip. I found them through an obscure TripAdvisor posting. I went with them because we had a car and did not want to be part of a tour busing out from Sevilla. What a great choice! We had a private tour with one other couple from one of the owners (this place is family run). We met the pigs (the owner had to yell a special call) and heard all about how they are raised. We then went inside to the factory and got every little detail. Then the tasting came and we went into the "living room like" room for that. It was much more than a tasting as we could have more of whatever we wanted. There were also wine pairings that went with each meat. The owner was patient with us and answered every question. The passion form him was undeniable. The tour was supposed to be 2 hours and we were there for 4. Oh ya, and our kids were free too. My daughter even got to wear the owners kid's "apron like" jacket for the tour! read more
